We will have stupid people as long as Scientology exist. Possibly longer.

Stupid people will always exist no matter where you go. And I think people are getting more stupid as time goes on.
Like the movie Idiocracy. Unintelligent people have more babies... intelligent people don't. Therefore, more than likely, stupid people are raised. 1we8.gif

Scientologies whole you must donate hundreds of thousands of dollars to be a good member sets them at the top of the scam podium though tongue.gif

Plus, they're a target because of how they'll often react.

True but there are also churches who get hundreds of millions of dollars in 'donations'. What can they possibly spend so much money on? blink.gif

Mostly people criticise Scientology for how unlikely their beliefs are (aliens and xenu etc) but from I can see they're actually more likely than the Christian God for example. tongue.gif Given the infinite number of planets in an infinite number of galaxies, chances are that there is some kind of intelligent life out there...

Yeah, it seems more probably, but it's not exactly a good thing that the person who created scientology is a sci-fi novelist. It honestly makes me wonder who wrote religious texts for the christians, or the muslims though tongue.gif

I think there are churches that probably have way more than they need. But keep in mind that they have to pay a lot of people and a lot of churches are barely able to keep open because of lack of funds. They ask for a small donation weekly, where scientology will make you sign everything in your will over to them and sell off your house to become a level V thetan or some shit laugh.gif

I'm not sure how ridiculous scientology really is in comparison, but it was certainly created during a time where we can know enough of its origins to be extremely critical.

How do we know that what he writes is actually science fiction? If it's actually science fact (which we just don't know about yet) then it makes complete sense for him to create it. wink.gif
