i'm telling you!! i toothed plate is the answer, just press it down hard enough on the plate, and not only will it hold it in place, but it will help further tenderize and spread any sauces deeper into the meat.

you should patent the idea before someone steals it.

Good idea, but you don't need any sauce for a steak.
