the lab map usually costs around 1million neopoints but thanks to the great autobuyer i got here, i got the whole thing for about 400k....still i think i should have thought about it a lil more before i turned it in for the lab ray got the pet pet map too cuz for 10k more why the hell shouldnt i have? now that i think about it tho i should have sold it. any thoughts on the lab ray besides mine? i think its just a thing for neomillionares to waste there money on


also for anyone needing that one last piece....get it and sell the whole damn thing and make a prophet on it

Well, it's something fun to do every day to just mess around with your pets. If your looking to make neopoints off it then yeah you should have sold it.

I remember snatching mine at a 400K deal. Too expensive, too expensive...

I think it's worth the price in the end, if you use it enough times. But for a starter account, it might be better off selling it.

Sure, it can make your stats uneven...but you are saving NP that you would otherwise have spent on codestones or dubloons.

Building up a pet via the lab ray is a pretty terrible idea. It makes the stats uneven first off, but also it has a chance to lower stats just as much as it does to raise stats. Having a high level pet loose 5 points in a stat can cost you lots of neopoints.

Since I got the map (about 3 months ago), I have gained at least 20 in every stat and gained 15+ levels.

Then there is also the fact that you could end up with a pet that would otherwise have cost you millions of np to get....for free. Even if you decided to never use the Lab Ray again because you wanted to keep the pet that colour.....you still saved NP because you didn't have to buy the brush.

Which is the reason I bought my map. Just to get some new colors for free. I don't know if it's still like this, but back then there where 4 or 5 colors that could only be received by the lab ray. My battledome pet was trained / painted /geared by hand. =x

I think I have had a couple of 'Lab Ray only' colours. For example, Sponge, which I think can only be got from the Lab Ray, was one I have had before....there is another that comes to mind but I don't remember the name of it.

another thing is when you get the petpet lab map and you get say a pirate anubis it changes back to a regular anubis when u detatch it from your pet so you can make np's buying cheap petpets and painting them
