sljMoneyTree (Neopets Money Tree Grabber)
Version 0.9.5b by ShadowLink64

This is my first distributable java program I have written for Neocodex. It features the use of an executable JAR file so that it can be ran on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. The program was constructed on Ubuntu Linux.

You need the latest version of the Java Runtime Environment to run this program. Visit http://www.java.com/...nload/index.jsp for more details.

Windows users: Run the setup.exe file in the [Windows] folder in the zip file. Then find the program in the "jCodex" folder of the start menu.
Non-Windows users: You must extract all of the files into a directory, such that the /lib/ directory is in the same location as sljMoneyTree.jar

Features:
  • Customizable Wait Delay
  • Custom "Min NP" Amount
  • Ability to Load Item Lists w/ Wildcard Support
  • Save/Clear Logs

This is a beta release, meaning that some things may not work correctly. It has been tested for a few days by the Private Members, and the only known bug so far is that the MTG tends not to grab anything above 999NP. If anyone knows the reason for this, please post about it. 1we8.gif

It was in public, but I moved it into Private since it includes the jcdxCore.jar file. I know Mumei ran it through an obfuscator or two, but I want to make sure its secure. 1we8.gif

I also see a few glitches with the interface. 1we8.gif I will fix the footer in the next release. tongue.gif

I'm trying to make it screw up and it is taking it personally...
Almost got 1000 wink.gif.

I tried to put the minimum time larger then the max, and it just said it was too large.
Looks REALLY nice only been using it a couple of minutes and it only tried to grab one thing, and it failed, but i would say you need to blame my internet for that. wink.gif

Maybe add a save and clear log feature...

Nice. biggrin.gif It's been failing for me too, but I think it's because I grabbed too much stuff for today. sad.gif I made it grab small amounts of NP, and Old Boots and stuff to test. 1we8.gif

Read the bottom of my last post.
I'm trying to grab 999 and up...
I recommend listening to High Powered by Dr. Dre while you run this program. Makes it feel that much more badass. The song and the program. tongue.gif

Oh... I guess you can't grab anything 999 and above? >_< Because I set the limitation to 99999 just in case. biggrin.gif

... and I will try the Dr. Dre. tongue.gif

Nevermind, I'm being stupid and totally misread your post. tongue.gif I read the last line of your post and I'll get on it (notice in the program description I said I would add it after the main stuff is tested). tongue.gif Yes, I just quoted myself.

I just tried this, and I can verify that this makes you feel like a badass.

Recommend that next version has Dr. Dre song embedded in it. Starts when you start grabbing. That is all.

Yeah the thing doesn't seem to be that quick of a program.
It tried to grab 1000 neopoints 3 times, and it failed all of those times.
It says unknown error, when you make the next version lets find out what the error is... tongue.gif

Looks sexy though

I know what the error is.... sorta..... its a strange one, because it shows the Money Tree page but completely blank with no status messages. Can a NeoExpert please explain WTF this is?? tongue.gif tongue.gif (only happens for 999NP+)

I've tested.
After putting the amount to collect at about 250 it works beautifully.
I just can't seem to collect more then 999.

Yeah, I can't figure this one out either. I am actually logging the HTML for that page in one of Mumei's logs, and all it shows is a normal Neopets page, but it has absolutely nothing on it (not a single status message). Just header and footer. 1we8.gif That's what has the program confused since it is unknown. 1we8.gif

Not sure if it's anything to do with this, but a lot of neo pages such as the boards, shops etc. have been loading as a blank page where the content should be, but with the normal sidebar/header/footer while I've been looking around the site. 1we8.gif

I see....

Well, this particular error seems to happen to me every single time you try and grab over 999 NP and never happens under. I can't see it being that you're not allowed, because then why would they let you donate over 999 NP? 1we8.gif It's really strange to me. 1we8.gif

If it's happening to regular users just browsing the site, then it's a problem on their end. Still a bit weird though.

sometimes neo pages return blank. but if you were posting and it returned blank the post went through. so you want to refresh that page without any data

How can you refresh without sending post data? I've never been able to.

it was posting to some page right. there has to be a way to get to that page while posting no data. maybe do a get or just leave all posts blank. in neopets case every page you post to, if you just take out the data or do a get on it without data in the url u'll get the page smile.gif
