    Post Pictures Noit!

This one girl got back to school one time after getting her wisdom teeth removed and she had bruises all over her body. They weren't that big, but we had some of the funniest conversations about how the doctor put her under and just beat the shit out of her for 30 minutes before he got to pulling her teeth. It was really weird how she ended up with the bruises...

Ah man ... mine are coming in and I'm praying like hell that they come in straight so that I don't have to get them pulled. I am scared as shit about surgery and I already don't do well with blood having fainted on a couple of occasions during blood tests sad.gif.

Do they at least put you unconscious during the operation?

That's what my dentist said when I was younger but I guess he was wrong since I can feel them growing in now.

They can, if you'd like a root canal. tongue.gif

My sister had a root canal to get her teeth out (they were both under the gum) and she said it hurt like hell xD

Otherwise how would they do it? I've heard they cut your lip to get access ohmy.gif. I can't be awake during that shit man ohmy.gif. I'll pass out from the shock! Can I request full anesthesia?

Are people who never had braces less likely to need to take em out? Since our teeth are like naturally straight and stuff?

Root canal = surgery, so yeah. You can get anesthesia for it.

& they cut your gum, not your lip xP

So long as they don't grow in crooked you shouldn't have to get them pulled. I think at least. Pray tongue.gif.

You're almsot 21 or something now right?

Damn that's late to be getting them, I got mine when I was 13/14, which is supposedly really early. Hurt, but they came in striahgt! thumbsup.gif
They only hurt when I close my mouth wrong and have them bite my cheek side, which hurts more than one would expect.

I'm almost positive mine are growing in. I'll just have 3-5 day spans where one of them (specifically my top left, which I think is growing much faster than the others for some reason) hurts. It happens like once every 3 months or so. It's weird. tongue.gif But yeah get well soon noit! smile.gif

When mine came in, me lower right and upper left grew in realllllly fast. The other two are still puny compared to those two, despite me being 15 now; would that be an overall tooth growth problem for those two teeth? And yes, it hurts. But it hurts much more if they come in crooked, as I expect many people's do.

I had to have one of my wisdom teeth removed. There was a flap of gum tissue growing over half the tooth. tongue.gif So it was half gum and half tooth. It was kind of disgusting to be completely honest. tongue.gif At any rate, I'm glad it didn't come out crooked. My dentist told me it would've been a lot more painful. tongue.gif

Also, try and refrain from drinking liquids through straws. It has a tendency to cause dry sockets. tongue.gif

I just got all 4 surgically extracted and 3 outa 4 were good. The 4th one came out ok but wouldnt heal and I ended up with a dry socket. The doc, if he can call himself that, just put medicated gauze in a hole in my effin mouth for 2 weeks and finally started to heal. The pain was, well I will just say i have never been in as much pain. I broke both legs, compressed my spine and tore my ACL but this pain was way worse. Oh yeah, on top of that. The pain meds worked for the first 4 or 5 days.

If you dont have to have them removed. Dont!
