My point is this. There were many things our government could have done to prevent the attacks. But it seems to me that we couldnt stop a jumbo jet from hitting the pentagon?

thats like saying the british cant stop one from slamming into buckingham palace,
the russians cant stop from the kremlin.

That's bad definition for conspiracy or you're interpreting it incorrectly. Calling the 9/11 attacks a conspiracy would imply that you think that the attacks were terrorist attacks commissioned by Bin Laden. I'm not sure about what things are like where you live, but people who think that it was a government conspiracy or something similar are usually branded as idiots or very gullible people. We should make a poll and see what Neocodex thinks.

Conspiracy "theorists" a branded as gullible and usually are idiots as well. However, when there are enough supported "facts" to indicate a theory is correct, it then becomes a possability. When more evidence comes forward (Norman Mineta testifying that Dick Cheney gave a stand down order to allow the plane or whatever to hit the pentagon) proving not only it was a possability, but most likely a probability.
Then those same people whom labled the theorists gullible idiots, by definition, are hypocrits.
