Yeah and programming is so much more time consuming than graphics. I decent artist can put together a decent sig in 15 minutes.

When was the last time you put together a decent program in 15 minutes? lol

Excuse me, I offered to do a bunch of GUIs in addition to site work, but no one has yet taken me up on my offers. I was helping with the Neopets Pet Simulator, but I can't get mine to look like illicit's.

And YOU, Mr-I'm-only-here-like-4-months-out-of-the-entire-year-and-still-claim-the-highest-rank-on-the-site, can be quiet . You're in absolutely no position to talk. Who is it that hands out promises to programs like candy and very rarely keeps them?

I'm sorry, but that's just rude. Have you even asked us to make all that lot yet? I see no topic anywhere requesting gfx team members do that, never had a PM, it was no where in some contract we had to sign that we have to make wallpapers, avatars, shop blogs, profile images, user look ups and shop look ups.#

We aren't really that lazy, it's just it's different to programming. Whilst I wouldn't personally consider making sigs 'art' it has the lot of the same mentalities, so if someone makes a sig request and it's for something you take absolutely no interest in, it's far harder to find motivation and get something looking good. Sure, amazing people will still produce a good sig with something they aren't particularly interested in, but it won't be as good as something that sparks their creativity and whatever. In my opinion anyways.

I won't deny some gfx members are probably considered lazy, but basically the team is in no way set up to say 'if you join this team you WILL contribute to Codex', the focus is on if you're actually good enough to get in, not that you're expected to accept responsibility to fulfill requests or make neopets crap or cut out clothes for hours on end for a neopet simulator. You can stay on the team doing absolutely nothing for codex other then posting your own work in the area every so often, I've not once seen a case of 'Yes you post your sigs but when was the last time you did a request or did some actual work? You're out!!' It's just not how the team is structured.

So quit bitching and learn gfx if you're so bothered .
