QUOTE (My Thread in Forum Help)
K I can't get on codex...sorta. I could earlier today but then when I tried to get on just a little bit ago it says the server can't be found. I didn't know what was going on so I got on a proxy and now I can login fine. I don't feel like being on a proxy all the time though so can somebody help?

I tried to help, but a lowly mod like me can only do so much. tongue.gif

I suggest screaming one of the admin's names until they come here. tongue.gif

Possibly? tongue.gif

If it were a DNS issue, how would I fix it?

You could try:

start > run > cmd > ipconfig /flushdns

Or use a different DNS like OpenDNS.

Waser: I run Ubuntu so I don\\\'t think that particular fix will work for me. Is there a way to do it that would work for me?

(possibly) Extraneous info: I have 0 access to the router I\\\'m on. tongue.gif

Edit: Naw, I tried other browsers already. Well. Actually only 1 other browser. tongue.gif

Keep a note of the DNS nameservers which you're currently assigned, it'll be somewhere in the networking status thingy. Then you can just switch back if anything goes wrong. tongue.gif

I have the same problem. When I try to get on Codex it forwards me to a search result of neocodex.us XD I just click on the "Cached" link and I can get on for about 15 mins, at which time it will forward me to the search result again.

Only when it feels like it, but I didn't want to bother you anymore tongue.gif If i do a flushdns + a registerdns it works about 40% of the time XD I find that clicking on the cached link is a lot easier.
