lol, I've done the exact same thing but with a lab map for 800np. Worst feeling afterwards. I ended up making offers like that on a whole bunch of trades, made about 350k back.

*pins award for shittiest user on goog*

Congrats man.

I'd have to agree with Abra on this one. Just because you fell for it doesn't mean you should sink that low.

I've never been scammed nor have I scammed anyone. However. If I was in goog's position I would have accepted it but I'd probably feel like shit afterwards and give it back. I can understand the thrill to accept really good/unfair offers but if it was something to a big extent I would probably make amends some way or another.

There was this one time I found a scammer when I was a newb. He was advertising "donations" on his junk trades and if he got say 25K he'd give you a free paint brush. I was curious so I neomailed him. We sent a few back and forth and then I asked if he could put up a pb on the trade so I could see it. He never replied. I felt kinda proud that I didn't fall for the scam but now I feel like an idiot because I didn't report him o.0

Never been scammed before, because I'm overly cautious.
and I'm usually the one being lent so I can't be scammed much.

When I was like 11 and just starting out on neo, I got scammed and was such an idiot. I kept begging them not to take things that they didn't even realize were there until I said it. They just laughed at me :sorry:. I actually think they traumatized me and somehow made me want to seek revenge and do it to other people. But I was more into hacking than scamming, I spose.. If I never started hacking, I wouldn't be here, though! So I guess it was a good thing :p.

When I was like 7 and first starting neopets a long time ago, I wanted to transfer a Christmas paint brush (this was when they were worth a lot more) I had found on the floor from my side over to my main. I wasn't sure how to go about doing this, so I asked the people on the Help (yeah, right) neoboards what I should do. I was told that I should put the paint brush in my shop for 1 np, then logout, log in to my main and buy it. Of course someone on the help boards got a PB for 1 np that day, and it wasn't me. I really wanted to paint my jubjub, I cried so hard :(

Another time I basically set myself up to be scammed by emailing all my login details to this guy who had one of those fake Freewebs sites promising that if you typed your info and what you wanted in a special way, then sent it to "[email protected]" or something it would automatically be given to your account and this was how TNT gave contest prizes to accounts. (hey, I was young XD)

I was successfully scammed when I first joined Neopets (fake login) and later on when some dude actually thought to check my Neo username to see if it was the same as my AIM name. I think I lost a mil or so on that one, but the one good thing that came out of it was the user got banned every time I gave him some large amount of NP (I was an idiot, yeah). That came in handy when giving people advice on transferring NP.

I didn't actually fall for this, but I still find it amusing after 5 years: Someone neomailed me saying "Your Baby Paint Brush is worth two Healing Potion Is." I asked if he really thought I was that stupid and reported him. >_>

This is the point where I usually play along, then pretend I can't find the Trading Post, can't find the accept button, accidentally hit the reject button... Just generally waste as much of their time and string them along for as long as I can.

I don't report people even though I know they're a scammer. I just ignore them and go on my way.....is that bad? :/

Kuro ... I do the same thing ... because everytime I got scammed ,I found that I could not get back anything no matter I did anything ... so I just gave up , maybe will add their msn and then say some fucking sentence to them and also about their family ,and then block them :sarcasm:
