One thing I've always wondered. Take for example on a beach. Men will always have their parts covered, and so will women. It's quite normal for a man to walk around topless, yet on a woman boobs are considered sexual and are covered.

Why? Is it because this has been the case for so long? For example, lets say it was normal for a woman to walk around topless, and instead their elbows were covered. Would elbows become a turn on? Would they be a major part of porn? I mean personally I love boobs But do I only like them because I've grown up treating them as a sexual part?

I remember watching Memoirs of a geisha, and the wrists were quickly flashed to the men as a sexual sign, yet we'd never look twice at a wrist.

Breasts are sexual because they're ummm well... women like them to be touched. There's nothing NOT sexual about them to be honest. In japanese culture the nape of the neck is also a sexual spot which actually for a lot of women can be quite sensitive as well. For Americans it's the legs. I dunno. I think men like women in skirts because they can think of the easy access.

Okay so guys aren't really that hard to understand. I mean it isn't for me at least :\ Some women have a hard time because they expect men to be exactly like themselves or something. I don't know.

So anyways in old Japanese culture breasts were not emphasized because of the style of dress. Kimonos make you look flat as a board to be honest and they cover just about everything. To show some skin was a BIG deal for higher class women thus the whole wrist thingie.

I think men are just attracted to soft things because it's traditionally something which is so much different than their own bodies. Women's bodies on average have about 10% more body fat so we're just going to be softer for the most part. Partially why it's bad for girls to be too skinny because our bones can be quite thin and sharp so it actually ummm kinda hurts. Plus breasts are fun to play with. They're soft and squishy and they bounce if you push them up. It's like pressing buttons in a toy store. Women's bodies are rounder while guys are more angular and just naturally are more appealing to the eye. And seeming as how breasts are usually the roundest part of the body on women naturally they're going to attract the eye more

Guys want cuddles more than women I think actually. They want to feel depended on especially in this world of women in power so it can be quite confusing with their roles. Frankly I think most guys want to feel needed in a relationship right now because I confess a lot of girls do not understand now what they want. They want to choose things and then they get angry if guys don't choose things. They get irritated if the guy is not dominate enough and get angry and say he's abusive if he's too dominating. Honestly I really feel for you, males. I really do.

Eh i think maybe you're right to an extent, it's kinda a stigma or whatever if a certain area is "supposed" to be covered then you're more likely to want to see it. Then again girls don't cover their faces (well most dont ) and i'm attracted to faces so it's obviously not the only reason

I don't think the fact that boobs are covered are the reason for them being so liked and sexual. Sure it adds to the curiosity, but I don't think the way people feel about them would change dramatically in terms of sexuality if it were more normal for them to be exposed in public.

But don't you find it odd that the areas that are considered more intimate just happen to be the ones covered? I mean sure, you can't beat a nice ass or a great pair of legs, but they wouldn't exactly get you 'excited'. Just seems like too big a coincidence for it to not be related.

I 100% agree with you, a LOT of women do that. As for the boob thing...I'm not sure. I've always wondered why though. I hate it when men get to take their shirts off when its 100 degrees outside, but I have to suffer (I hate the heat) and leave my shirt on

Women can wear barely anything anyway and get away with it. You might get a bit of a title, but who cares

The only thing that confuses me is that they will show a guy's butt on television yet they censor our a girl's butt. That's always made no sense to me.

I don't know. I seriously just get tired of watching movie's showing guy's butts. It's like the only thing they can show so when a nude scene comes you're guaranteed to get nothing but a screen full of some dude's butt. It's really annoying. Maybe girls digg it?

Personally, most of the time on regular tv, the guys are usually pretty nasty. There are a few that break that rule of course, but for the majority of tv males they are ass (excuse the pun) ugly. The movies though, I see more women naked then men.
