I think that the reason they are covered is because they are considered sexual. Like, swimsuit designers definitely take that into account when doing their work. It's more than coincidence, it's just pure fact

That's meee. I can't go into detail about it though because I have to say words like 'breasts' and 'naked' too many times and it makes me blush .


Anyway I don't think the fact that something is covered up really adds or detracts from something being sexual, I mean a good set of arms makes my stomach plunge and they're hardly something that's commonly hidden . I think it quite possibly stemmed from practicality into habit and now it's just that we're so unucustomed to seeing breasts/penises ect that it's like 'OMG ' when you see it, like if you see a car that you never normally see it's like '=O', if you're into cars anyways . But I mean we cover up all the areas that are most sensitive, all guys know how painful it is to be hit in their genital region so it's very understandable that when men used to run around hunting and god knows what that they'd want some protection around there as soon as they could figure out how . And if nipples react to a breeze I'd hate to think how they'd have coped on some winter night entirely naked out in a cave somewhere . Though it's possible they've become more sensitive over the years that they have been accustomed to being covered up I guess.

I'm rambling. And talking lots of shit. I'm going to post it anyway though becuase it vaguely shows my opinion . +1 post count, whee!

But don't you find it odd that the areas that are considered more intimate just happen to be the ones covered? I mean sure, you can't beat a nice ass or a great pair of legs, but they wouldn't exactly get you 'excited'. Just seems like too big a coincidence for it to not be related.

I think you have a valid point, I think it's 50/50, we find breasts more attractive because they aren't always visible, and it becomes more of a lure.

Well I don't think it's just that. I think it's what makes someone look distinctly female vs male. For example females have a very distinct small of the back. The more distinct that is the more feminine she is and therefore more attractive she is to the majority. Just like the shape of the breast and the butt is what makes the woman look female and is exactly why males find a more distinct and curvy form more attractive (once again the majority). Some males like girls who are flat and have no form but I prefer to call them pedophiles. (I KID I KID!!!!)

It's the exact reason why broad shoulders and a strong jawline are very attractive to most females.

probably right. when you think about it there is a natural tendency to go for women with a good waste-hip-boobs ratio, and for men a shoulder-waste ratio and sometimes even a beard. genetics is fucked though. if I followed nature id be eating tons of fat and doing nothing.
