You guys know any good acoustic songs/bands? I'm thinking about learning acoustic guitar (by teaching myself), but I really want to hear some good acoustic songs. I've been listening to some of Oasis' acoustic songs (Wonderwall) and I really like them.

No country, please.

EDIT: Shit, I just saw that other acoustic thread, but if I could I would like to keep this one.

Definitely. Check out Iron and Wine, Badly Drawn Boy, and This Guy, Obadiah Parker.

If you're looking for good Acoustic Guitar:

John Mayer
Dave Matthews Band
Tenacious D

Have some of the best acoustic players out there.

If you're looking for easy acoustic guitar to learn with, here's some easy modern stuff.

Rise Against
Secondhand Serenade
The Spill Canvas
Jack Johnson

Honestly I'd practice chords first, then once you get used to chord transitions you can play 90% of modern acoustic songs. Some easy stuff.
Fade to Black (Intro) - Metallica
Good Riddance - Green Day
Smoke on Water - Deep Purple
Enter Sandman (Intro) - Metallica
Seven Nation Army - White Stripes
