Finally got this thing finished! I started one of these a long time ago but scrapped it like I usually tend to do. This one almost got left to die in the depths of my harddrive aswel, but I got round to finishing it in the end.

So! First thing's first. Feature list!

  • Mutiple pet support! This auto-trainer will train all 4 pets. Which pets you train is totally up to you.
  • Custom Routines! You can create your own custom training routine for each pet individually.
  • Auto pet-detect Your pets are detected automatically and your options vary depending on your number of pets.
  • Auto-buy codestones! The required codestones to train will be found and then purchased from the shop wizard.
  • Stat comparison! Compair the stats you currently have with those you will end up with whilst making a routine.
  • Neopoint monitor! Remaining neopoints are displayed at all times. Program stops when you can't afford codestones.
  • 4-pet monitoring! Monitor all 4 pets at once during training.
  • Minimize to system tray! Allows the program to run innocently in the background.
  • Minimize menu! Allows you to easily check the progress of all 4 pets from the minimized window. Also holds handy links and information.
  • Registary saving! This allows you to not only save your username and password for easy login, but also to save your custom pet routines for every pet by name. They will be automatically saved and loaded so you only have to make them once. Because they are by name, there are no problems when swapping accounts.
  • Custom wait time! You can set your own wait time, used between visiting links for a more 'human' program.
  • Human-like navigating! The program will navigate through the links as a human would.
  • Pet image download! Downloads and displays your pet's images. For looks really.
  • Login checks! Checks to see whether you have been logged out, and relogs you in if this is the case.
  • Initial training check! Checks to see if the pet is already on a course when you start the program and responds accordingly.

Well that's the feature list, now for the screenshots!

I really went the whole 9 yards with this program to make it as easy to use yet feature rich as possible. It comes with an installer that's quick and simple to use.

There may well be errors in the program. I debugged as much as I could, but I also made a hell of a lot of last minute changes which could have caused a few problems. If you find any please let me know in the topic.

Change: Login feature now updated to support new neopets login.

Enjoy folks tongue.gif

    Yeah. It was my first proper program using .net as I've always used vb6. I'm planning on moving to Java now though biggrin.gif

    Surely you remember all the whinging I did about multi-threading tongue.gif By the time I realised I should have done it, it was way too late and would have needed a complete overhaul. The GUI doesn't freeze anymore though biggrin.gif

    Nope tongue.gif After hours of coding things seem to just slip past you. How the hell I didn't click on to the fact "System.threading.thread.sleep()" was the reason my GUI froze I don't know. Realised when I next went back to it though. Added a wait function instead tongue.gif

    Can anyone think of why this could be happening? It didn't try to use my local dir for Skimmy, and I just tried it myself renaming my 'Visual Basic 2005' folder and it worked fine.

    Makes absolutly no sense to me.

    Interesting tongue.gif You've just helped narrow down the error by loads.
    You probably get an error when closing the program aswel. I know what this is now, I just have to recompile it and re-release it smile.gif

    Just pump up your strength in the list to whatever you want. If it gets to the point where you need to increase level, it'll level you automatically before returning to strength.

    Oh btw, where do you get the error? After clicking Login right?

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.
