Some "down ass fools" thought it would be funny to jump me on the way to my car. Pretty funny shit, I got fucked up haha.

Had my head bashed into my hood several times. One "down ass fool" threw a hammer fist that missed and hit my car, had some other "down ass fool" hit me in the back of the head, and while I was falling, round-housed me in the mouth, causing a nice fat and bloody lip.

Discuss how "down ass fools" are gonna get the shit beat out of them when I find them.

I really don't know what is a "down ass fool". I know what a fool is, but I'm not sure what other attributes would make a fool "down ass". Please enlighten me.

The local gang "CPA", likes to call themselves "down ass fools" because they can fight. Or they can jump people. I will go with the latter.

Haha. I don't need anyone to watch my back, I got some flies all over my shit.

Calling some homies and getting them to find em for me. Then I'm going 1vs1 with each of them in one day. Should be fucking great, they'll regret fucking with me.

I'll post pics in a second.

Exactly. And I'm big enough to manage myself with a 1 on 1 or a 1 on 2. Me being 1. But this shit was whack, and this time it will be regulated, so I can't get jumped by 20 beaners halfway through.

I think I fell in love, someone who understands, or does not understand, but is ignorant enough to post the truth haha.

To those saying call the cops, all that does is waste 4 hours of my time sitting around bleeding in front of a cop that won't do anything. If you have lived in L.A. and have had to file a police report before, you know where I am coming from.

I understand quite well...there isn't any reason to sugar coat things. I hope you find 'em and beat 'em. Yes, I agree calling the cops is a waste of time because 99% of the time they'll never find them.

No, that's what happens when he gets his friends to go get revenge, and then they do the same, and it cycles around.

So you get your ass kicked in a cycle until you end up dead? Awesome!

Yeah, or you take the mature and reasonable option of going to the police where they don't get the opportunity to participate in said cycle and it ends.

It doesn't end. Stop being naive.

    ok --

so calling the cops = nothing gets done
but fighting only makes it worse

so what is the correct thing to do?

    serious question though
cause kitsune is a good girl that follows the law (seeing as she's gonna be a lawyer or w/e)
but most of us grew up in the 'hood and we know how its settled here

damn this would be a good debate topic

I'm sure you'll find these statistics a lot faster then i will Ange, but what is the percentage of convicted felons are repeat offenders?

Actually a quick Google search gave me this chart.

Obviously this chart is only a small representation and is most likely off by a small percentage. Let us be fair and say it's off by 9%.

A 70+ percentage of convicted felons are repeat offenders. Yes, sending them to jail is the best alternative!

Again, I understand this is just a small sampling, but I assure you, you're not going to find much lower rates nationwide.

Heh so what I gather from you guys is that, the best alternative, is to not tell the police about the attack and get a group of your friends to go and get revenge which solves absolutely nothing, and ensures people get hurt and that it won't be the end of the problem.

    Fuck yeah! tongue.gif

In all seriousness though, it's a pretty normal response to seek revenge rather than call the police. I don't think it'll get much done though, particularly if you're dealing with a "gang"

Ange I know you live in Bumville, New Zealand but the justice system doesn't always work. Personal experiences tell me that if you do the job yourself then it solves everything.

If you think I'm being naive, take a look in the mirror. In your scenario a whole lot of people get hurt and has the potential to endanger a lot of people in the future with further retaliation, including your friends and family. It proves nothing except you choose brawn over brain. Typical, caveman response.
In my scenario, those who did wrong, get punished, get sent to jail, are taken out of society and are therefore unable to hurt anyone for at least the term of their sentence, and have at least the possibility of rehabilitation.

I'm sorry, where exactly have I come off with the worst scenario? Maybe I simply grew up in a place where I'm able to believe in the system. I pity you.

Ever heard of the phrase 'snitches get stitches'?
