There are six books...

Into the Darkness
Darkness Descending
Through the Darkness
Rulers of Darkness
Jaws of Darkness
Out of the Darkness

It's about WWII, but in fantasy terms. All the events are basically in similar order, with made up countries, dragons, magic, etc. Has 16 viewpoint characters, so you get to see everything, not just one view. It's the first book I've ever read like this. It's pretty amazing.


I just finished the 2nd book... anyone read any of these?

I hardly ever read...but these actually sound interesting and definatly different. I might have to give the first one a try

they are LONG.

the 2nd book was 718 pages, and the first was in the 600's...

I will warn though... it's got a lot of boring parts, but at the same time a lot of cliff hangers on a view point character... i found myself racing ahead to see when I read about that person again so I could find out what happens lol
