It's probably not a good idea to do so...

My only other choice is a reformat, and I don't have the discs to put Vista back on if it ends up wiping Vista.

You cant remove all drivers, but for some, you can use DriverSweeper.

Just wondering, but why do you need to wipe all the drivers? If something is fucked up that bad, I'd just reformat. Would probably be easier and better in the long run anyways.

You reformat the whole computer, not the OS tongue.gif If you have a HP Compaq, it's F8 while the HP logo is showing, - Repair your computer - Recovery Manager - No for System Restore - YEs for factory image restore.

It's probably something that can only be fixed by buying a new laptop, but my internal WiFi turns off and won't turn back on. I can't close the lid/restart/shut down/let my laptop sleep after I reformat 'cause of it. And sometimes it turns off anyway.

Yeah, definitely sounds like a hardware problem.

I'd RMA the laptop if its still under warranty, if not, possibly buy a new wireless card for it.
