Yeah, that pissed me off.....she should be barred from having animals for the rest of her life......I was telling one of my friends about this story and she whipped out the "well, you had your ears pierced when you were 6 months so you didnt have a choice in the matter" I just stared at her for like a min till she uncomfortable walked away, ....At the very least, because of the attention this story has gotten all those kittens are going to get even more crazy loved by somebody because they know what they went through. Like, if you get onto body modification sites, they have the most hardcore omg how is that even possible stuff on their, and they still wont link to pics of someone tattooing their dog bcause they think its a little too extreme.

How disgusting.
No one has the right to treat animals like that.
I know that parents pierce their kids' ears super early, but I don't like that either.
I'd rather have the choice of the matter.
The poor kittens. I hope the piercings get removed and treated properly.

Actually, tattooing is commonly done by vets as an identification system in case the dog gets lost or stolen. It's basically proof that the dog is indeed yours since of course a criminal wouldn't keep the collar
Of course tattooing for other reasons is just stupid ^^;

I'm talking about the dogs who have the skulls and sparrows tattood on their bellies with stars and butterflys.....the tattoo for id purposes are comp fine by me....i dont ever want to be walking down a street and see a dalmation with a frickin tattoo of a fairy flying over a tribal cross above their tail in the "handle bar" spot cause I will flip the frick out. Cows are badass though, they are tough enough to get the tattoo under their lip, I dont mess with cattle, they bad

They may be bad, but who eats whom?

Touche. Though I agree that domestic household animals shouldn't have to go through that kind of torture. There's already enough people out there that come home and kick their cats.
