God, that's actually one of my worst nightmares. We got stuck for 15 hours coming back from Chicago once when I was a kid and that was horrendous enough.
I've actually flown with Alitalia a couple of times and they've been nothing but courteous to me. No problems at all.
Sleazyjet on the other hand are an airline with which I've had all manner of issues.

Wow, I think I would have started a riot, lol. I've had a few delays, even a cancellation or two, but I'll never complain about those again after just reading that story.

When I read about him being pissed off about being delayed a few hours I thought he was being a whiny bitch but by the end of it wow. How can a company like that not go bankrupt.

hooooolu shit. my dad works for an airline, and i can honestly say, if i were there, a smart thing to do might've actually have been to start a riot. get the news involved. and hell, maybe the international police could "escort" you home

I just think its funny that someone told him they would all lie. I've never heard a whole country generalized that way. And worse, his story verifies it.

You should have heard my great grandfather rave about Italians. Then again, he fought in the Sicily campaign during WWII, so he might not have been the best resource.

And I thought waiting over six hours in Chicago because they had a broken AC on the plane was bad :\ Holy Christ. I feel awful for that poor man. I did, however, lol at the African carrying off the cop.
