Sick. I was so young. I hadn't even done my GCSEs then and now I'm in my 20s and getting married and halfway through my degree and basically everything that could be different in my life, is.

Oh I'll definitely post some photos.

It's at a church back in our home town that our friend's dad is the vicar at. Really beautiful, right on the edge of town near the river. Fingers crossed for good weather that day. Although, this being the British summertime I expect it will rain.

Good thing I'm not marrying you then. I never wanted a civil wedding, to me marriage is a sacrament and I refuse to do it for the sake of making life easier when dealing with finances etc. If I wasn't having a church wedding, I wouldn't do it at all.

I'm not going to apologise for having a faith. I don't force it down anyone's throats and 99% of the time it impacts nobody's life but my own. I think religion and science can easily coexist and in my life they do. I find preachy Christians to be hugely irritating too I'm not hurting anybody by hoping that there is something much greater than humanity out there. I don't claim to know or understand it but it's carried me through some fairly dark times. I don't think people of other religions or non-believers or gay people are doomed to an eternity in the fiery depths of hell, I'm not even sure I believe in heaven. But I believe in something and it helps me and doesn't hurt you.

You make it sound like having a nice secular wedding in a McDonalds is bad or something. And I would have provided my wedding planning skills free of charge of course. I guess you just don't understand the merits of ice cream vans as a form of wedding transportation, you're all damn fools I tells ya!

Marriage is about two people making a promise to each other to be together*, it's not about religion or law or pretty dresses or the location.
