It is an avatar item, but so is everything that's broken. You get it repaired and you get an avvi. lol I thought it was a fluke when I went to look through an Avatar shop, but then I did a search and found all of them are really high considering a toy sword is... 1np?

Why use something so expensive though, when you can get a 'Broken Fake Uni Hat' for under 30NP? And it works just as well for the avatar.
