Funny you should mention them now. I looked up ad0 today and found an article on PPT that talked about the history of all these hackers, and I had only heard of ad0. It was pretty interesting finding out about the others.

Yep. He probably found an SQL injection point on their site or something, ran some queries, got back some vital passwords in some output and used it. That's my best guess.
