I kind of feel good that featheralley etc. got hacked since it seems to be impossible to get such a robot jetsam legit. TNT prolly played favourites and helped her/him get that far.

I think it's been since they got the one-of-a-kind sword in the Meridell war that the TNT have favored them. (It WAS Featheralley that got it....right?)

Anyways, Featheralley's freezing will just be like Jazz_Invincible's demise, sooner or later, people will stop caring, and soon all we will see is a random thread asking people if they remembered Featheralley at all. That is, all this will only happen if Featheralley stays frozen and does not return. Though, it happened to Jazz, it's bound to happen to another top player.

People aren't dumb, and the neopets staff is just really not smart at handling
any sort of PR. Take wow for example, they still play "favorites" but they don't do
it so obviously, those players are actually good.

Probably enough of this kind of thing has gotten to the general public of players
and all that limited edition bullshit and unobtainable crap is bound to make
more players fed up and stop playing. Why the fuk would they want to save a couple
of players who I don't think played legit all the way up there, and give up on
hundreds or thousand of people who are jealous and will quit.

If it were up to me, I'd rather take a thousand poor players than one rich player,
at the end of the day, a thousand people are more likely to click the ads.

Pretty much...Hydrogen probably remembers NPH, that's where a lot of folks went between nhacks, digibliss, and neotwist. There was even an Autobuyer competition there. Codex didn't end up entering anything but still...was a pretty good site.
