Who are you to judge how successful I am in society? You know absolutely nothing about me. I am on a neopets cheating site, however that is not what I use the site for. Don't assume I enjoy neopets because I am here, that is a foolish thing to do.
I wasn't saying that only the demographic the product is designed for is allowed to use the product; I said that pokemon were designed for children, and by collecting them, it is a childish thing to do. Anyone can collect pokemon, but it happens to be a childish thing to do; that doesn't mean it isn't allowed.
I am addressing the point that you post. I have been following up everything you say, which happens to be out argument about the point.
This is my definition of failure, for a person that is: a person or thing that proves unsuccessful: He is a failure in his career. The cake is a failure.
Is it really that odd?
Okay, my mom thinks all video games are childish, so I'm sure if you play video games,
in her eyes, you would be very childish... Unless you conform 100% to society and
only work, exercise, eat, sleep, vacation, then you would be doing something "childish",
or refusing to grow up, so she would claim. Now I got nothing against my mom, but
all I'm saying is... everyone is subject to their own opinions and views of what is
right and wrong.
I don't think there's any proven relation between career success and toy collecting,
because uh... I know girls who collect little plushies and what not... they're like 20+
and not really failing at life either
I mean I collect magic and play neopets... and I don't have a problem with finding work.
There's really nothing wrong with diversifying your range of entertainment. Since I
also participate in more "adult" activities as well... I think it's just a preference.
