The sum of my time working at Comcast... just add in the term "unplug your modem... then plug it back in"

    It was awesome...

I actually had a guy tell me it was our fault his display was flipped upside down. I googled a solution and told him it wasn't our fault but I'd fix it anyway

Not if people have a sense of humor.

This is awesome. Did you randomly find this or did somebody else show? I'm so saving this so I can make it the wallpaper on random computers at my High School. It is a wonder how MS Office 2007 replaced the toolbar with the ribbon and yet people still have problems finding something that is a big button right in front of their face.

I despise the ribbon. It's so unintuitive at times, especially in Excel.

For the average user who types a term paper, or makes a graph. The ribbon is god like. Everything they need right there (Isnt that macs philosophy too...wonder why people only bitch when its microsoft) but for the people that are used to doing odd and more advanced things, its a pain because its not where you wanted it to be.

LaTeX FTW. It's not good if you want to do excel type things, but Word, OpenOffice Writer, and other word processors have nothing on it :p.

As for the ribbon, it's just something new. Those who said that they had to relearn Excel were absolutely right. Such a large UI change does require re-learning most of the software as far as the location of the various commands go. I'm surprised that Microsoft made such a huge change but I'll be more surprised if they make another huge change again :p. People tend to get used to the locations of items :p.
