I was at school for about three hours before I even knew anything happened. People were all talking about something I just didn't have the interest to find out what. Then I overheard someone.

Considering that terroist attack are not a steady occuring event, its a little hard to figure out your chance of being killed by them.

Of course, I cant find a statistic on how many people who are shot by cops are killed. so I cant continue to figure out the statistics, but you seem to think that cops just shoot whoever they want, whenever they want. In most states, when a cop fires his weapon, his is immediately placed on paid suspension, and after the case is reviewed he can come back to the task force. That makes every cop out their just go ahead and shoot people randomly.

I was at home, enjoying the end of summer break. I turned on the tv and thought 'Oh, what a boring movie', so I changed the channel and noticed the same boring movie. Then changed the channel once more. Then realized what was happening and panicked.

But now, 7 years later, I've nearly forgotten it completely.

    Anecdote time,

Back in south africa the police force is more then corrupt, if they confiscate drugs from you it's just so they can use them.

If you report a crime, they will search your home and steal whatever valuables they don't think you will miss.

There was one time, back in SA, My friend had to come stay with us because his house was being "searched" They enquired about it a week later and it was still being searched, They got it back after the third week, but all of there shit was gone and there was mud and dirt all over the house, it turned out the police had been using it as a common room.

So before you go saying your police force is fucked up. Think.

The picture I have painted of south african police is terrible. This is only in some areas, such as durban and Johannesburg, and even then you have cops who are genuinely good people that want to help.
Don't generalise based on the acts of the majority.
