I'm sure there are quite a few hypochondriacs here, so let's post some self-diagnosis :p
People who actually have disorders/syndromes are welcome too. Bleh, I can't ward this any better without sleep

Schizoid personality disorder (Symptoms in spoilers)

    Cool, another Aspie.

I'm convinced they stick that label on anybody who's halfway nerdy, though. Seriously.

I can see where that comes from.

However, I did have the developmental stuff as a child....and my mom always knew I had it...

But she never came forward with it because she didn't want people to treat me differently as I grew up *sigh*

Whoa, I have an OCPD and have never realized it until now :-o. Then again, I never go to any sort of doctors :p.

Ok, now I'm seeing my Neopets routine as a clear manifestation of OCPD.

A little bit of Schizoid Personality Disorder and a little bit of ADHD. Though I don't have very much of either so I'd guess I fall into the hypochondriac category. :p

I'm just a little bit country and a little bit rock-and-roll...

Yep, that's me, I was diagonsed with minor Asbergus... but my meds keep me in tow. Thinking of trying to get the strength lowered, because I reckon it's interfering with my creativity. I haven't written/photoshoped ever since I started them.

    /facepalm

Anyone saying that they have a disorder when they're just looking at themselves and seeing symptoms needs to stfu. Unless something is actively disrupting your life, it's not a disorder. Everybody has their quirks and unless it's been diagnosed by a doctor - and that doesn't always mean anything - you shouldn't look for an excuse for bad behavior. A lot of those symptoms are just aspects of yourself that makes you YOU. Why does that mean you have something wrong with you? Because it's out of the norm? I'm just letting you guys know that this topic is all in good fun! Don't take it seriously :p

Anyways, I'm obsessive compulsive. Haha, even been diagnosed. I had this period during high school that I plucked out half my eyebrows with my fingernails just on impulse. It's actually interesting. People who have OCD can actually change what they're obsessed with if they work hard enough. People who have read Xenocyde by Orson Scott Card will probably understand this too. So instead of pulling out hairs I try to delve all the energy into artwork. I get so obsessed that I sit infront of the computer and can't stop till I'm done. Since it's not exactly negative anymore I don't classify it as a disorder. Only when I have negative behaviors again >_<

    What Tetiel said.
You can't self diagnose yourself from reading symptoms in a forum. If you REALLY think you have a disorder, get checked by a REAL doctor, not a webpage.

    Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder

    Diagnosed.

    Bipolar

    Diagnosed.

    Any questions?

Also, I wouldn't have known to consult with a doctor in the first place if it hadn't been brought up in some conversation.

Last thing, right now I can't afford doctors or medication, so how would a person like myself who just happened to not be diagnosed go to find information on what's bugging them?

Lol well Hebephrenia is disorganised schizophrenia, which is where someone is prone to losing things and being extremely lazy, Ghandi was hebephrenic

Psychoempathic is the complete opposite of being a psychopath lol (I don't know the real name for it) It's where you are completely in tune to others emotions and feel them more then you feel your own.

    And we all Know schizophrenia

I show some of the symptoms of Asperger's Syndrome. I have an extensive knowledge in one particular field and study up on it almost constantly. I also have trouble with people touching me, and social interactions in general.

I do not, however, actually have autism.
