Well Abrosia is alot slower then the GM autobuyers, if you have under 500 posts. and at Abrosia's current update, going faster will mean you will be frozen, however GM autobuyers can go much faster, while still looking completely legit thanks to the user element they bring into it.

Yeah. because all computers can load webpages oh so fast. I mean, with godlike speed... I dont think so. Most customers computer who I work on, take between 2-10 seconds to load a damn page.
Abrosia doesnt bother to load images, giving a much faster speed, and doesnt render the page, and uses our Itembd.
Thats freaking WIN right there

My Tweaked Haggle/ocr loads the haggle box and ocr first, which takes about 0.049 seconds, then fills them in without bothering for the page to load, I also use something called adblock.

Yes, because looking like god is going to keep you from being frozen
It wont. I've yet to be frozen using Abrosia, and I've kicked plenty of GM autobuyers asses.

lol
GM doesnt act on a page until its loaded?
And, its not just Ads and stuff. I have adblock, and on a 4mbit connection, with 8core processor and Firefox 3.5 running FasterFox. Posting this took 3.126s.

I have 2.5mbit connection and I post at like 10x the speed of you
and my GM script runs staticly on the first page while working in the tabs.

I like them not for use but just because I love javascript.

javascript is pretty fast
I'm pretty sure the first one is what chrome uses and the second is firefox.

It's supposed to be slower on purpose so people don't get frozen all the time. The times of people competing to get the fastest buys should be long gone by now, unfortunately some people are still stupid enough to be believe that faster is better.

But. Aborisia is faster on the whole. If the GM autobuyer is executing at the same wait and buy times as Abrosia, Abrosia will ALWAYS beat them to the buy, unless your connection times our or something. Where talking script side execution speed, in which Abrosia ownz.

Javascript is faster than python. You can pretty easily block all images from loading, after that, the GM aber would probably be faster.But. Aborisia is faster on the whole. No. Pay attention. GM ACTS AFTER THE PAGE HAS BEEN RENDERED. First Firefox renders the page, draws everything out, and runs their javascript. all your addons run, then GM gets the page to look at, and act upon.
There is no way in hell that GM is faster then Abrosia.
Further more. GM isnt pure javascript

Javascript is technically faster. Look at both the links I posted.No. Pay attention. GM ACTS AFTER THE PAGE HAS BEEN RENDERED. First Firefox renders the page, draws everything out, and runs their javascript. all your addons run, then GM gets the page to look at, and act upon.

If you eliminate the rendering, it can eliminate this slow down.

But like I said their wrapper and stuff is all dependent on Firefox and whatever else it does its not straight execute there's caching or other stuff going on.

Are you sure about this? when I was messing around with my multi-tab GM autobuyer, I had bits of the script that ran when the page loaded, and often times the page wouldn't load because the GM script refreshed it before it could. (I fixed my refresh timers)
And I don't want this to turn into a GM versus Abrosia thing.
Abrosia is by miles much better than GM autobuyers, however, at this present time. GM autobuyers can go faster than Abrosia. I know Abrosia is deliberately that slow to stop you from being frozen, but GM autobuyers can stop you from getting frozen without slowing down there buy times, due to the user element that they bring in, e.g. posting on the Rs and chat boards.
And when 1.0.0 Comes out for Abrosia, GM will have lost that one winning point that it has over me, until then I pick GM.

Oh another things about GM. It's GM. So your code goes to GM which then goes to Firefox core and gets the right stuff then executes the javascript. Which then uses the stuff on the backend. So the benchmark tests dont represent gm let along gm abs at all. Just some facts.

See. Your still missing the point. Abrosia has no slowdown at all. All executions when deciding to buy is within milliseonds. All the wait is on sleeping between refreshes, and sleeping while it waits to buy. Very very few people get frozen using Abrosia. Plus no autobuyer out there posts to the message boards yet...
Oooh, and I'm still waiting on your proof of GM using multiple tabs...
If you reduced the pauses on abrosia wouldn't it be the same speed? Just wondering.

With the same exact wait times. Abrosia kicks GM's ass. Hardcore.
There is no way GM can act before the page loads. Addons dont work that way. Now, when the page loads, then GM will act, and you might not notice the speed difference, but its definitely there.

Programs are like putting a motor on a skateboard. You only have the bare essentials to run so it's fast.
GM is using firefox which is like having that same motor and skateboard but adding a trunk, mirrors, headlights, plush seats, car stereo... you can add noise cancelling headphones (adblock) that might disable the stereo but it's still there weighing down the skateboard.

Argue, did you even read my post?
I suggest you re-read it. I said GM does not have to use pauses before OCR etc. because of the user element.
"With the same exact wait times. Abrosia kicks GM's ass. Hardcore."
Thats exactly what I said in my post, however, Abrosia at it's present time cannot afford to use lower wait times without looking suspicious.
And I also explained to you on IRC how I got GM to use multiple tabs, in other news I have gotten 4 MP's today

What User Element? The only reason Abrosia pauses is because it loads the page so much faster then GM. Otherwise it would screem cheating, and so we wait the 1 seconds or whatever before "clicking" the OCR, and thus we look like a legit person. Where still going faster then alot of people on slower computers can load the page, and we have already executed everything before we wait, so exactly upon 0.7 seconds we can smash the ocr and buy the item.
So far, I've never missed a first buy, and several times I've bought up to 3 before other people.
