Sorry if i came off a bit cross in the MP thread. Of course you are as welcome as the next person.

I thought you were being a cocky asshole and for some reason I got defensive of WL?

Haha, I can picture you like jumping in front of LW, and defending him IRL. His expression is hilarious xD

Yes I have such an active imagination I can picture people I haven't met :)

    Anyways, welcome to codex.

    Thank you all.

I still like to use scar to play games instead of using a score sender.
I like the challenge of programming even if some people consider scar just scripting. It's simple and that's what I like about it

If it works for you, that's all that matters :p. If you are curious, try out some other languages like Python or PHP some day. If you want some tutorials, let me know :).

As you can see I joined a while ago.
The layout was confusing so I didn't stick around.

Looking over everything I see there are a lot of features in the site and the programs.
Things like the item database where it seems obvious that the programs should populate with data. (It's just like how the ImproveNeo GM script used to send information about the item prices to improveneo.com.)
Also under the program discussion, the things you have in the works.. just sick.

I've been other places but I think I may have found a home.

I'm glad to hear that :). What do you think we can do to improve the layout so that it's not confusing?

*note, awnsering this question is not necessary as Hydro and Shadow are conspiring to go all Ajax over the front page.

That was alot more of a sexual innuendo than I thought it would be :/

SCAR http://freddy1990.com/ is a program that you can write scripts to do things like play flash games. I guess it's like an image or color recognising macro. It uses a modified version of pascal for the scripts. It was created to autoplay Runescape.

I like using it over scoresenders because it actually plays the game. Good scripts act and react according to what you see on the screen, just faster.

Not many people still use scar anymore so good scripts are hard to come by. It pretty much introduced me to programming and I've created scar scripts for a handful of games. I've also created a lot of greasemonkey scripts.

@hydrogen - php is probably my next step.
