I run a Pokemon forum and have used MS Paint to sprite a few fake Pokemon of my design. Here is a gallery of a few of them I will update with more later:

Thanks! I think I may start showcasing a new 'idea' for a request shop that just came to mind!

Wow I really love your sprites too! Didn't really like the Sketch Chansey and the Starry Alakazam but the other 4 designs were really good! They were also very well named in my opinion. Thumbs up!

Kuro, last year this kid in my business class showed me Sprites in MS Paint. I thought it would be really hard but it gets easier the more you do it.
I'm sure you could find tons of guides on the internet but I do know that the kid showed me that you zoom in all the way and do the outlining, one pixel at a time. then fill in the base color and go from there.

It's very easy to do it if you understand how object/source lighting and shading works. If you get shading right, stuff will look very very awesome :)

In other words, it takes a lot of patience and concentration.

The phrase "one pixel at a time" made me cringe. It sounds like a lot of work lol
