I personally haven't tried summoning any spirits, as they mainly come to me... but I'm just wondering, since I'm normally drunk out of my brain on Halloween so I do not focus properly... has anyone had any interesting spiritual experiences during Halloween that they'd like to share?

Sorry if I don't make sense. Had a big night last night :p

    I've never particularly tried.

I've always been doing something else... and the very few spiritual experiences I've had have had nothing to do with Halloween... more with the lunar cycle.

I don't believe in spirits or higher goals or anything.

I have been a magician for a while, so I am pretty confident to say that everything suggesting paranormal activity is actually set up to make others believe such powers exist. Magicians use this method for entertainment, spiritual medium use it for profit <inb4religion> and people have used it for ages to convince gullible people to their will. </inb4religion> <inafterreligion />

I'm gonna try summoning a Succubus with a Funnel Cake on Halloween, then have hilarious adventures with her.

Anyone else think it's a rad idea?

I don't believe in any of that stuff. But what is interesting is how churches where I come from have been slowly trying to hijack Halloween and turn it into some weird thing about the horrors of the secular world.

I'd much rather dress like the undead and scare the crap out of children.

Eh, I'm a spiritualist by nature... and I was just merely concerned with what other people get up to on Halloween. It hasn't been really a major event in Australia, the stores sell costumes and what not but it's not really commercialised... we're kinda laid back here, but Movie World on the Gold Coast has a huge party every year where you can go dressed up as whoever and they open the theme park at night, you can get absolutely tanked and ride the Superman Escape over and over until you puke. Plan to go as Jack Sparrow next year :D

    Anyways, sorry about the rambling.
