I am sorry to say but Cox, I am dissapoint. My vote goes to House. EVEN though he finally got clean, he's already got a sidekick, well actually 2 (Willson and his private detective) so yah, House has my vote.

Cox. House is too fucking angsty and tries too hard. Or uh, is written that way. Cox is a better written character overall, his moments of being nice or relatively normal are there because it's realistic, House's occasional moments of being nice are written so the audience doesn't hate him for being such a total tool, or are totally self serving and not actually nice at all anyway. Also I just really hate House because every edgy dumbfuck on the internet who likes to think of themselves as ~snarky~ idolizes him, as do people who've self diagnosed themselves as having aspergers when really they're just douchebags.

I watched Scrubs for a few seasons but never really got into it--though Dr. Cox was my favorite person on the show. However, I watch House religiously every week. I think the show has fallen a bit from earlier seasons, but House is still the man. It's pretty clear to me that he's a messed up guy who doesn't get much pleasure in helping others for altruistic reasons (at least, that's HIS rationale).

Back in the good old days House made Cox look foolish. Now though its about even.
