In this thread http://www.neocodex....-the-same-time/

Some folks are saying that it is dangerous to look like you are doing two (or in my case three or four things at the same time), I wonder why that is?

I have written a couple of python programs that check my my current chrome cookies, to see if I am logged on, if it is it starts working, one starts checking my PT information grabbing current prices etc. All cookies received if different then the current chrome cookie is pushed back out to chrome. The Code also sends the identical User-agent header and the proper refer header.

AM I wrong to assume that this will look like I am doing 2,3,4 things from probably multiple windows or tabs in the same browser? Why would this be dangerous?

Curious?

Dangerous because if it looks like you're doing 3 or 4 things that isn't humanly possible.. you'll be frozen lol.

Personally I don't think they'd bother checking these things in so much detail but I can see why people would think what they do about this. If they were to check then it definitely would look suspicious if you were doing 3-4 things simultaneously.

Well to neopets even though it maybe humanly possible, they will start to really scrutinize your activity, and thats the last thing you need. Once you get frozen, you can beg and plead they usually never return the account. Especially when using the AB'er I would definitely not suggest doing multiple things at once

It would be really easy to just use a table to store action times, and sort it by time, and flag the account for review if any two actions occur at the same time.

It would also be really easy to stop autobuyers and score senders but they don't. :p

For score senders they flag the account for review if its too high, and they flag account for review on ABing, if they buy too fast, or if they buy lots of things, or if they get rs banned too much.

    How would you stop ABers?

It would be as simple as adding an extra variable in the process, anybody without that variable is definitely not legit. Same goes for score sending really, update all the games with an extra variable to be sent and flag anybody who doesn't send it.

And, we would simply update our program to add that :p

Not before they caught a lot of people though. :p How much notice do you really take of the post data when you're not actively programming something? And people hardly ever look inside the flash games apart from the encoding function.

With current browsers and the speed of computers, I am often legitimately doing 2 or three things with the website at the same time. Often I am using the shop wizard, and playing a game, and checking something else at the same time.

I am not talking about using an AB and being logged in at the same time, as the buying process with the haggling process etc, it would be hard to explain how I was doing that at the same time as fighting in the battle dome.

So if I am online playing flash games, what would be wrong with running something that say auto prices things in my shop, assuming of course all the time lags etc are built into the process to make it look like a legit user? It is no different than me pausing in the middle of a flash game to write this message.

Yeah... The first ban wave would hit us hard... because we had no ideal that TNT would do this. But then we would adapt our programs to actively look and parse the post data. Maybe SL should encode a killswitch incase they do this this.

You have three monitors, and three mice? Insane :o

And no, you cant "pause" a flash game.... You can lose and leave it, and thats fine, but if you where to play Cheat and submit a flash score, thats a flag.

It is be just as easy to create a table of accounts that login, then logout, then login, then logout. or say people don't bother to logout, so login, login, login, login, login as people that are using AP and AB all the time.

Someone said in a chat if asked you can just say your browser is clearing the cookies that is why you are being logged in all the time, what if the AP and AB shared a common cookie jar so that as long as one is logged in you can start another, and have the second one start without having to logout and log back in, simply by taking over the cookie jar.

I fail to understand what your grasping it. 1)You cant do anything to get your account back. 90% of accoutns are frozen for ever. You can tell them it was clearing cookies, and they will give you an automated message saying you where frozen due to cheating and it cannot be recovered.

2)If you make two actions at the same time, you have to be botting. Its impossible for a human to do this.

Many games will pause at the end of a level and I will routinely leave them at that point to go do something else and come back...

Exactly, they dont care if your clearing cookies... two actions at one time..and the account is gone if it ever gets frozen.

High profile accounts can always mail certain staff members for help.... and sometimes receive better help but im not publically posting that info on how to do that..and it really only EVER works for high profile accounts.

Can you define "high profile" for us? I had a 7 year old account that had a lot of trophies, etc. that got frozen for a bullshit reason, and I can't get it back.

Lots of trophies, Top avatars, well known, popular..... very active on site. Absolutely needs to be one of the most elite accounts or will not get any person attention from TNT at all.

My old account (which was eventually frozen for a reason i can't fight at all).... and three others of a very popular guild a few years back all got accounts back... i was the only one ABing... but we used each other for game avatars sometimes.... i chain froze all of them... we all got the accounts back... 2 of us were frozen yet again and the other person still got their account back and plays on it till this day.

Man and I thought I was pissed getting my 4 month old account frozen for some bogus reason, if I had more time invested I can't imagine what I would have done... Now I am willing to push the limits, and see how far I can get without getting frozen, because as we all know TNT can and has frozen peoples accounts because it is Monday and we freeze accounts on Monday. So don't get to attached.

Oh I know about account freezing, it's why I am here after my account got frozen and I experienced the worst (I hate to call it this because it really does not qualify as such) customer service in years from the TNT team. crazycga told me about codex and I have embraced the faster way to play whole heartedly...

2)If you make two actions at the same time, you have to be botting. Its impossible for a human to do this.

So then you are thinking that they are looking at log and see two actions at exactly the same second, or are you even saying that using the shop wizard to find stuff while waiting for my turn at KQ is a bad idea?

With the example of flash game + something else:

TNT does not see you pausing between levels. All they see is:

    1. Load Flash Game
    2. Load other page
    .....
    25. Load other page
    26. Score sent from flash game

So as long as 25 and 26 don't happen at the EXACT SAME TIME, you're fine, probably
