Okay, swirl. Here are some of my tips again.
~ Make sure you are trained to around Lv46. When you are, engage them in a battle.
~ I personally enjoy taking out the water faerie first, though most guides advice people to take out the fire faerie first.
~ If the dark faerie doesn't use haste, then DON'T BOTHER to use slow potions! It's quite a waste of time actually, in my opinion.
~ Mipsy should cast haste and Velm should cast shields as usual.
~ Have Rohane attack the water with meelee while Mipsy and Talinia hurl damage potions at her.(I hope you have some corrode potions with you) Okay, she may have some good hp but that doesn't mean she cannot be taken out! Watch out for the rest though. They could take out your other party members unknowingly.
~ When dark casts haste, throw slow potions. The faerie aren't really magic resistant so it should be fairly easy.(another reason why water shouldn't be too difficult to take out). After that, continue attacking.
~ Once the water is gone,(pheeew!) start attacking the fire now. She is supremely easy if you follow the strategy you used to defeat water. She should be killed quickly.
~ Remember to keep your shields and haste up.
~ After that, focus on the dark. She should be fairly easy as well.
~ A side tip here, you should use damage potions, but don't use too many of them unless you have a lot!
~ When dark is gone, all thats left is the earth. She has high hp but with her alone she's a goner. Just swing your way to victory! Okay, but here's a precaution to take: Don't let your guard off now! Just dont! She may be alone but that doesn't mean she's going to lose. I have seen situations where some people get all happy inside and forget about the shields/haste. If Velm's shields go down, she can easily hit your party members hard! Real hard! Like 100+ damage. I've seen even some people are so happy they thought she's about to die and they let Velm swing his staff at her. But what they didn't know was, the shields had gone down!!!
When the shields are down, the earth faerie took a stun swing at Velm, then a critical one and finished him!
That's what happened to my cousin. So, in my opinion, you should only let your guard down when you have fully defeated all 4 of them.
~ Lastly, good luck on your NQII journey!
