I returned to school today to take a few pictures on campus and clean up my apartment. While there, I stopped by one of my favorite places to eat: Sam's Mediterranean Cuisine. I used to get their beef shawarma with yogurt sauce every time, but have recently switched camps to their cheeseburger. They make their burger in a way that I can't even describe. Just thinking about it is making my mouth water :(. In any case, check out these pictures I took. I apologize if the food items make you hungry :p. They taste better than they look.

in afghanistan, i put one of those tiny microwaveable pizzas inside of a cheeseburger... i'm quite sure i shaved about an hour off of my life by eating, but it was quite possibly one of the best burgers i've eaten.

    PIZZABURGER = WIN

I just watched Food.inc so i'm not even slightly interested in burgers anymore.

I can only imagine what wonderful spices are inside that burger that looks so plain yet you say is so amazing

On a side note. Does anyone ever question you when you go into their restaurant, pull out your cam or phone and then start taking pics? Maybe you are an undercover food inspector?

No no no, that's "robbing". He's talking about the place where they put on red robes. Red Robing. :p
I like the fries at Red Robin, but the burgers are a bit overrated.

I thought the beef with yogurt sauce sounded really disgusting until I saw the picture and made the connection in my brain to Mediterranean food. Man, now my stomach is making Cowboy Bebop noises. How is this cheeseburger better than a normal cheese burger, though? It looks pretty normal on the outside. I'm guessing they must add things to the meat to make it more flavorful.

True story: I once went to a Korean resturaunt, and they had what they called, "K" burgers, which were basically regular burgers, but with a sweeter, oriental flavor. I was hesitant at first, because the place always has dogs tied up in the back, but it was really really unexpectedly good.

dude... i don't know why i don't take pictures of my food. i heard that sometimes health inspectors get free meals, or discounts just so the restaurant will get a higher grade XD

I just got back from TGIFridays and they have an awesome new burger.

5 spice bacon (all spice, cloves, cinnimon, and who knows what) It looked like blackened bacon but was actually soft..
    Cheese(chedder I think)
    chopped pineapples
    terryaki sauce
1/2 lb burger cooked also with terryaki sauce
    UNDER the burger was..
    Thai Peanut Sauce
    those crispy lo mein noodle..

    Sweet and spicy!

My Ex does it all the time, with his camera phone. Nobody has ever asked about it.

If you're in Australia, there's a few awesome burger places; Grilled (Bird and Bree is awesome- Chicken, Bree Cheese, and Cranberry sauce) Oporto (Otropo- chicken with delicious spicy sauce), and Nandos isn't bad.

Nando's is actually a big favourite of mine when it's cooked well. Sometimes you get really bad stuff, sometimes it's fantastic.

The picture of the burger in the original post looks good though, it makes me want one.

I know what you mean- the one near my work is one of the bad ones tho- they overcook the chips <_< And there was the time that another one gave me a minute steak that was raw in a burger...how do you leave thin steak raw :S

Me and my gf went to whitespot, which I think is a restaurant that is only in BC, but they had a new burger with brie and mushrooms and other stuff on it and holy crap was it amazing. I was not really big on different types of cheeses but I am now.

    Been cow-free since 1999.

The best veggie burgers ever are from Hut's in Austin (greasy goodness) and Plant in San Francisco (thick handmade patty, goat cheese, and grilled vegetables). Huts also makes fantasic regular burgers apparently.

When I'm feeling disgusted with myself I head over to Burger King for my veggie burger. Most people don't know they sell them.
