I was looking at the DB and I noticed I was credited for items I did not price. I never ABed let alone price weapons yet the DB says I just priced an Ancient Schmiter 30 minutes ago. I checked my store and my SDB, no weapons sooooo where is this false info coming from?

Did you use Neon AP at all? That contributes to pricing the database as well.

If you ever had Abrosia up and running regardless of whether you bought anything I believe it still prices items in the background.

Yes I use Neon AP and AB. I know I haven't bought or priced weapons. Thats what is odd about it.

It doesn't just price what you have or buy, it prices items in general while it's running.

Maybe it was bought, and sold so quickly you didn't have any idea. Check your sales history.

Even if I don't go into a weapons store? Sorry for the newbie questions. It just was an odd thing to notice.

Aye, it should just be searching items and pricing them randomly while the programs do their work.

That's a pretty damn efficient program.

Off-topic: do you run it on the usual 8 seconds? Or do you ever dip below it for more profit. Or does faster refreshing not translate into more profit?

Basically when you start up Abrosia it downloads a list of items which we've designated you to price, now while the autobuyer is running it's pricing those items in the background and sends those prices in to the database at regular intervals. Which means that everybody is contributing to the database while they profit from the autobuying so it's a win-win situation. :p

8-10 seconds.. anything lower and at best you get RS Banned at worse Iced. Honestly I don't think lower then 8 seconds gives you more profit just higher risk.

BTW last night I snagged an UB ;) 350k piece of clothing.

    Awesome.
I don't mind it at all. I like contributing to the DB and neocodex.

Yeah, like Laser said, it downloads a list of items to price from our database and does it in the background (pretty slowly I might add, it only prices 1 item every 30 seconds so it barely interferes). :p

And yet, it keeps our database in tip-top shape, and there's no evidence that excessive searching in the ShopWiz is linked to freezing. :p

Neon, especially, prices all sorts of items. It's a good thing. :)
