Guys are much more competitive then girls, and they learn how to do things faster then girls, while on the other hand, girls like shiny, pretty, cute things, and not doing much work.

OMG this whole thread is like sooo cute! I'd love to chat but I really need to stop typing because these icky key are doing such a number on my French tips. See that's why I just love my shiny sparkly pink DS because it's got that cute little stick thingie and it's just like a lipstick so I can do that, you know? And it doesn't mess with my nails! And it doesn't have icky boys either so and can play Cooking Mama and Babysit Tycoon with all my sparly pink friends at the hair salon after shopping. Anyway gotta go and you know you're all like my best friends, right? We should totally go shopping tomorrow and get that Frilly Princess game for the DS! YAY GIRLS!!!

Look, I'm just saying that there are variables other than gender. Your WoW guild, for example, may have been top because of time and effort put in, strict rules and applications, decent leadership... (Also, did this guild exclude women as a rule. Because that would explain a lot.) There are many, many factors to concider other than gender, so you'll excuse me for not taking your personal experience as gospel.
Look, I obviously don't know you and I'd hate to assume, but right now, in this specific thread, you sound like a real 'seriuz bizniz' kind of gamer. I could be wrong, but pretty much all girl gamers I know really, really dislike that attitude. Especially when you mix in this absolute certainty that girls can't be decent gamers. I was in a guild like that (we played together in RL too, in the same room) and I quit because one guy kept trowing temper tantrums everytime someone messed up even a little bit, hitting civilians with an AoE and such. Before that I kept up perfectly fine, but this 'seriuz bizniz' crap put me off completely.
What I'm saying is, maybe there aren't a lot of top female gamers because a lot of male gamers are seriously off-putting.
^smilley and xena were the first female players to get inside the pro brackets at mlg

Well, that explains a thing or two. Look boys, a woman may be all cute and cuddly when you get them at first, but they grow up quickly and then they're all teeth and claws! Consult with your local vet before deciding to adopt a woman of your very own!Our guild never excluded women from the guild, infact some of the people would have loved to have them in the guild (And they voted Yes on the application just for that reason)
Hm. I don't know. My first idea here, and I know a lot of people who'd think just like that, is that when you're goofing off, you sorta need to forget about who the crappy player is and what you need to do to get the maximum out of the game. Wanting to win is fine, but in a friendly match it really souldn't matter. Goofing off is a chance for the crappy players to have fun with the game. If you're not sitting there laughing your ass off at the foolishness, you're not goofing off, you're gaming fer realz. For all intents and purposes I am a "serious business" gamer, but I also enjoy goofing off alot of times. When friends come over, I have no issue doing a 2v2 with the crappiest player on my team (Though, I play extra hard to win
). I dont care if people goof off, as long as they dont screw me over in the process (They should have stuned, instead they stealthed).
Maybe that's because you go around saying things like 'I've never met a decent girl gamer' and 'Girls like frilly pink shit and not working a lot'? Just a thought. It may be true, at least to you, but it's a seriously shitty opener. I do hope it happens for you, but women do not respond well to that crap, because whatever you want to call it and however you want to defend it, it is horribly sexist. It's okay to think like that, but maybe don't advertise it so much? You never know who's listening. Maybe the woman of your life heard this and pissed the hell off forever. You never know. Female gamers are still female, not your best bud with boobs. Which is something a lot of my ex-boyfriends had to find out the hard way.I would love to meat a girl who could play as good as me (Soul Mate?), but it just simply has never happened.
QFT. Seriously.Hardcore gamers there.
One of them is holding the remote by one hand, and the other is holding it in the middle.
Horrible rebuttle.

Or you could just ignore him.If all 13,206 posts are like that, I seriously doubt I'll reach 500 posts anytime soon. A couple of bucks a months is a fair price to pay to be rid of this asshole.

The first girl to ever win a pro tourneyment where males played too was in 2008, and she had two males on her team as well. I'm going to go and watch the game now if I can find it, and see if the team was carrying her or if she did her part.

Now that Annabeth points it out, that actually makes no sense at all. Why would they keep her on the team if she didn't do her part? I know boobs are neat and all, but they're not that great. The first girl to ever win a pro tourneyment where males played too was in 2008, and she had two males on her team as well. Well. She might do some of her part, but he team could be her carry. They came into the tourneyment expecting to lose according to the interviews, so that may be the part. Cant find a video of it.

Seems like there's a bit of a hate against girl gamers here
I happen to be one, a damn good one, and I'm proud of it.
