C# for the most part. Plenty of others from time-to-time, mostly based on context (ie Javascript, PHP). Python looks too ugly; I don't even want to learn it.
Haha, I see.. so any variety will work really? That's cool.

I personally like C++, but I also use PHP and Javascript, depending on the purpose. Just a tip, don't use Java, it's the devil's language
How rude! Nothing wrong with Java at all!!
I have used the following lanuages:
Perl
PHP
Java
VB
VB .Net (There is a difference between VB and VB .Net even if it is minor!)
Little C#
Little C++
But I am more profound in using VB .Net, Java and PHP

It's just because we wanted to make it simpler to support the programs so having them all in the same language means that we only need to provide one set of runtime files, they're easier to debug and we can recycle code between them. Python was chosen because it's very simple yet powerful and it's quite an easy language to learn. It's also cross-platform although we haven't really taken advantage of that yet.

I don't think any of the programmers will have Delphi installed tbh, our collective knowledge covers quite a few languages but not that particular one.

Well we're here to answer any questions which you have while learning, most of us know at least a little Python.

Hydro's pushing me to try out GTK+ for our interface rather than wx so we can switch over to Mac, haha. I'll have to check the status of the wxPython project for Mac though. Last time we tried it, buttons were hopping around the interface.It's also cross-platform although we haven't really taken advantage of that yet.

What's wrong with just using Tkinter? It's the default Python GUI package and I tested it in both Windows and Ubuntu on that captcha thing, everything worked fine. The only problem is that the apps look pretty rough because it doesn't use the native theme of each system.
