So lately I've been thinking about starting to use the programs here.

I have a REALLY old account (7 years now) that I want to use the programs on.

If I run that account and the programs on IE, but I use my main account on Chrome (my main wouldn't be using programs) could they trace it back and freeze both accounts? (assuming the IE account got frozen for cheating)

Same IP, so yeah, unless it's behind a proxy.

yeah the browser really doesnt' do anything at all, i wish it did. personally I would not do it on an account that old. how safe it is is completely how you use them I doubt how old it is really changes much. As elindoril said, use your new cheating account with a proxy and clear your cookies everytime before switching accounts.

With the proxy, I would probably need to use FF, right? How safe would a proxy make my other account?

Would I need to clear my cookies if I use FF for one, and Chrome for the other?

I would clear cookies just in general as good practice but abrosia has a proxy user built in so you do not need to do it with your browser it's pretty nifty. I didn't really understand either until i used it. I also have foxyproxy on my firefox for when I want to go on my side accounts.

So if I make a brand spankin new account, with a new email and all that jazz, run foxyproxy and abrosia, clear my cookies (even though I'll be using 2 different browsers) I should be "safe," right? I know it's not 100%, but something is better than nothing.

yeah, i would use a proxy to create that brand new account, then your regular IP won't be traced. sounds good though.

I just installed foxyproxy, about go to create a new email, and then off to make a new account. If someone who uses foxyproxy and/or abrosia, please get in the chat so you can explain all this stuff to me :p

I had a hard time making emails behind a proxy because I used public ones and most email sites blocked them. foxyproxy is the same as abrosia you just type in the ip with the port and then turn it on. there are guides already in the forums which are very well written.

I use ff for both, my main (i play legit on) and my side (i cheat on). i use public elite proxys for neocodex progs and for ff to visit my sideacc. i'm doing very well for nearly 4 month now. be sure you use elite- / high anonymus- proxys and clear your cookies before you switch between your accs.

For the original question. TNT wont freeze both accounts if you dont link them. As long as your not transferring items or anything, they wont freeze the second account (Unless you have done a whole crapload of cheating, then you can get chain iced)

I'm just going to use a proxy with FF and the cheating account and chrome with my legit account. I played around with it yesterday and got both browsers to have different IPs at the same time. I think I'll be safe. :)

Bro if you have a 7 year old account. Keep it all to one browser. Never use another account. Never ever. Use firefox for browsing as the programs pick up firefox headers real easy and its the exact same.

Georgina made a very good proxy guide recently, it's here: http://www.neocodex....ow-to-use-them/

And like iagrue said, be careful about transfering stuff between accounts. I'm not saying you shouldn't ever do it, but it definitely ups the freeze chance.

Also something with a proxy, I believe that playing flash games makes your normal ip viewable to Neopets, no matter what kind of proxy you have. Something about flash...can I get a confirmation and/or explanation for that?

I'm not going to use the 7 year old account to AB. I'm going to create a new account.

I won't just "transfer" the items over. I'll actually buy them from myself, but for cheaper ;)

Even if I'm using a score sender?

    Can someone confirm this, please?

If you are using a score send then you are fine. If your playing a flash game, flash doesnt use the ip that firefox uses, it sends the data directly using whatever ip address your computer has.

That's great! All this time I wasn't using the SS + proxy because I was afraid it was going through flash and showing my ip.

The SS does not use flash at all. All is does it download a game, take the encryption scheme it uses, and then post a http request. It pretends to be flash in all essence.

So lets see. You're saying that as long as I:

create a new account using a proxy
    use a score sender
    use abrosia and it's proxy
don't transfer items from account to account
clear cookies (even though accounts will be on different browsers)

that my legit account will be safe? I couldn't care less if this cheating account got iced, big deal. I just wanna make sure my legit account will be safe.

I know this is getting old, but no, it's never safe. It's the safest it's ever going to be though.

Oh, I've been around long enough to know the risks ;)

I'm just trying to minimize those risks.

Thanks to everyone who helped me :)

As long as you always use proxies with your side. And it is 100% anonymous, then yes. You are safe.
