Faerie Abilities Guide
Faerie abilities are abilties your pet can lean from bottled faeries and use in the battledome.

Training your pet
There are six types of bottled faeries (earth, air, fire, water, dark and light) and each has a line of abilities that correspond to the element. Your pet needs to be a certain level to learn abilities. For example, a level 1 pet can learn Torch from the Light abilities, but it will need to be level 4 to learn Flash, the next ability in the Light line. If you try to have a bottled faerie bless a pet that is not of the appropriate level for the next ability in the line, the faerie will disappear and be lost.

Finding Bottled Faeries
You can get bottled faeries from the Tiki Tack Tombola (rarely) and in Kauvara's Magic Shop for very high prices. Every Wednesday at 6PM NST Balthasar donates a lot of faeries to the Money Tree. You'll need to be very quick if you want to grab them.

By far the easiest way to get bottled faeries is in user shops, where (at the moment of writing) they cost between 3000 and 4000 np.

It is also possible to raise the level of a specific ability. You can either feed your pet certain neggs or spin the Wheel of Exitement. It's not known what raising the level of an ability actually does. At the moment, it looks like something unfinished and useless.

Assigning abilities to your pet
If you click your active pet's name you will get to a page with portraits of all your pets. Click the pet you want to give the abilities to and a drop down menu will appear. Choose 'View Abilities' and you'll get to the page with the abilities your pet has learned.

If the icon is moving it means that the ability is active and your pet can use it in the battledome. You can have a maximum of seven active abilities.

Using Faerie Abilities in the Battledome
It's hard to say which abilities are 'best' because it depends a lot on who you're fighting. Most people agree that these abilities are good all-rounders that can come in handy in any fight: Sink, Burrow, Drain Life and on lower levels, Heal.

Below are all abilities sorted by element. Rather than list the 'in-game' description I've decided to describe what they actually do, which is sometimes nothing.

Note that some abilities can be used on Weak, Medium or Strong just like normal attacks. What this does depends on the ability. Sometimes (like in the case of Heal) Strong simply means that the effect is better than on Weak or Medium. Sometimes (like in the case of Night Vision) the effect is the same on all three levels, so it's best to use Weak to preserve power. In these cases, I've simply put Weak in the 'Best used on' column.
