It is for my 'Senior Project' ! Lame.

"You will need to first find a book from either the Costa/Whitbread winners list or the Man Booker Prize winners. You may go back as far as you'd like. There a couple of stipulations:

1. There must be no film version and no review on Sparknotes/Novelguide/etc
2. Only one student per class may choose the same novel "

Basically I am supposed to find an interesting British Novel on that list. I am supposed to generate a list of a few that I like and we will be drawing numbers in class to see who can choose first. I have to have some backup books in case my first choice gets chosen. :p

But, I have to make sure it is an interesting book because i'm stuck with it the rest of the year.
We aren't allowed to trade or anything. This project is a huge make it or break it for graduation too.

any help is appreciated. :x3:

Oh, strange. I looked up "The Sea" not "The Sea, The Sea"

"The Sea" by John Banville is actually another Man Booker Prize Winner :p

hahah. I'll check it out! Both the books actually seem pretty similar. O_o

I don't think that is a man booker prize / costa / whitbread winner. At least I couldn't find anywhere that said so...
