Hi,

I am currently trying to build my website and would like to have a flash Introduction page. I have purchased one from a template site. I would really need help as to how to embed it into my site. Any advise would be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Straight from w3schools:

<object width="550" height="400">
<param name="movie" value="somefilename.swf">
<embed src="somefilename.swf" width="550" height="400">
</embed>
</object>

Pro-tip: Cookie-cutter flash intros are almost as irritating as embedded music.

If you're intro has a skip intro. And it takes you deeper into the flash movie (as in not a new page) i think its ok. Not sure im not a flash designer. But i hate when intros take you to new pages :(

Flash splash pages are mad annoying, a lot of people don't like seeing them.
There's some "pro" way of embedded via JS so its dynamic or something, look around google.
