Now if only the Malevolent Senti-whatever Poogle avatar card got duped

they'll freeze whoever uses the item to
a.get the avatar
b.to resell
which is retarded since the consumer won't know it's duped

maybe buy one on a side you don't care about, and see if it gets frozen. Then if it isn't, sell/transfer in a few weeks...

yeh i dunno. for some reason I don't think they're going to freeze, just get rid of the duped ones. ;O
But maybe...
People were talking about the duping of the FQD?
What happened then? XD

It's exploiting a glitch, and TNT will freeze people for it.

TNT was at work today though, my score just got approved. Maybe they already delt with those people and those are real ones?
People trying to sell the real ones in fear that they'll deflate to under a mil or something.

Items are stored on TNT's servers and not locally.
This is the type of hacking vulnerability that would get covered up quickly (thus why you have to do it all at once) and is the sort of thing that will get you IP banned :3

and why not just dupe one? sell it, then wait like a few months, dupe it again, etc. Instead of ruining the economy and gettnig frozen for no real gain
yeap people that run stuff like Neopets don't like people ruining the economy. I used to play a MUD called Ateolia that was run by Iron Realms. Found a glitch and whored it for like 30 million gold. All my chars just banned

They do it for fun. Considering each item in neopets has a specific code that when you dupe that code stays the same for all items. Meaning TNT can find all the dupes, and will probably get rid of the legit item too. Knowing this people do it to fuck with the site, not for any other gain. This is for duping, not for item glitches like the GMC or DD last year where visiting the item page would create new items for you. At least I believe this is what I read somewhere on the website or something..
