This was a long time coming!

you can send me some then ;)
when i went to tokyo, i was totally crazy about 'mini daifuku'
these are the original daifuku: sort of rice paste filled with red beans paste
    http://shizuokagourm...8/daifuku-2.jpg

i don't really like those because i hate the red bean paste, but the mini daifuku were really small versions wrapped in plastic, which you could buy in a normal candy-like plastic bag and only costed 100yen per bag, and are incredibly yummy
i think i bought tons of them when i was there XD the garbage can in my room at my host family's house was always filled with it, i was imagining what they were thinking of me seeing that!
it's as sticky as marshmallows, but it's got a non-familiar taste :) (every candy in japan had a non-familiar taste actually...)
    ... i really miss them now :(

Seem like the love of Australians for Cadbury Creme Eggs.

In the UK they have them all year round. Even thought Creme Eggs are hugely popular and often sell out before Easter in Australia, they still won't keep them on the market all year.

Have they ever tried keeping Peeps on the market all year?

Basically they are almost always around.

Springtime (till easter) there are chicks, rabbit and egg shaped peeps.
Beginning of summer (till Independence Day - July 4th) its star shaped peeps
Fall (till Halloween) its jack o laterns, ghosts and black cat shaped peeps
Winter (upto Christmas) its tree and snowmen shaped peeps
Winter (till Valentines Day) its heart shaped peeps.

So basically the only time its hard to find peeps its late july to late september. We get cadbury eggs too! I am in love with the small candy coated ones. I have a tube of them right next to me.
