I got suspended for talking dirty via neomails for longer than 24 hours so now I'm going to miss out a day on the Daily Dare which means I won't be able to get the best trophy.

The person I was neomailing wasn't offended by what I was saying and was actually contributing as well.

The rules regarding talking like this on neopets.com are to ensure you're being a seedy pedophile and chatting up little kids. If the other person is the same age and you two are just mucking around surely this shouldn't be disallowed, that's my view anyway.

Am I just a dickhead or are the filters on neopets.com too strict?

chobitz + mertigue = i got suspended earlier for asking someone for their AIM / MSN. i took the precautionary method & i got suspended for that. then i thought fuck that i'll do it over neomail and i got another suss but this time longer. it doesn't seem like i can win anyway.

The problem with that though, Belle, is first you need to obtain their aim / msn and when you do that you're still not certain your account is going to be safe. You can use the biggest / most complex code system and I believe you'd still get iced / suspended for it.

What I do is when I send a NM asking for someones IM username I delete it right away! Have not gotten one sus. yet! But I have only asked for 4 ppl username on aim! I have an idea why dont neocodex make a adult neopets and we quit neopets and join the adult neocodex neopets lol

I was talking to a friend the other night and he got suspended and I didn't while trying to figure out each other's instant messenger. Why didn't I get suspended? I didn't say MSN. Plain and simple. Here's how you get peoples info:

Safe words:
aim
im (Don't capitalize or you'll draw attention and aim is iffy. Don't use it too much)

@ Codes:
Hotmail: "H"
Yahoo: "Y"
AOL: "A" or "Ay Oh eL"

I've gotten away with all those. So for example, using my emails, I would answer someone asking me, "What's your im?"

For my hotmail:
"sadistofsins at H"
Aol
"Ay Oh eL: shallowxsleep"
Yahoo:
"silverfang9013 at Y"

TNT doesn't seem to have caught onto this method yet nor can they really seeing as IM and AIM are real words (I.E. IM going to the store or AIM at that target!)
Think of real words and not internet slang to use instead of the actual thing. Make the "codes" simple but effective!!! (Like "H" and "Y". If the other person has no clue what the hell you're talking bout tell them to think bout it you aren't risking shit)

Pft, you think the admins here have time to run a full on site like neo by themselves?
Not to mention the HTML/CSS/Javascript knowledge needed to create a site like that... It'd be hard. The best site I've ever made is the one below and that was a little difficult even!
It'd be NOTHING compared to the actual neopets. It'd really just be another "Subeta" or something.
OH! That reminds me, TNT should make a travel thing like on petpetpark to be on neo though =/
You can walk around with your pet and instant chat with people ^ ^
They did it for PPP so why not the main site? That'd be fun IMO
