That's because "plain notepad" is plaintext. Therefore it takes up less space. That is the entire point. And also, it isn't the same information. There is information in a word document that you cannot see that is still being saved and added into the filesize. Also, word saves by default in .doc or .docx which automatically uses up extra space by being a proprietary format. Those aren't good for society either.

If you don't use word or microsoft products then why the hell are you complaining about something that isn't a/your problem?

No.

Word of advice.. Don't reply! :p

Pfft.

Word is definitely not a piece of shit. It has over 10,000 different things that you can do. Its extremely powerful, and extremely easy. I have no ideal what your taking about. Why does everyone have a copy of it? Because it works, and does everything they want.

Word doesnt take up more space then other word processors. Sure, it takes up more space then Notepad, but thats because it does 10 million times more.

I agree. I'm not really even a fan of Microsoft, but even I find Microsoft Word to be an amazing tool. *Thanks the gods my boyfriend gets free copies form his school that way I dun have to pay for it*

Everyone has a copy because they spend tens of millions on marketing. That's why. I could sell the shittest item of all time but if I have experts marketing it for me it's going to sell.

Why are you hellbent on arguing about a Word Processor and the amount of space it takes? Hell, you don't even use and shouldn't even care.

I'm just talking about it. What's the problem with discussing how I feel about it and as you can see, it lead to others contributing about it as well.

Lol, so this is how the scammers managed to write up such intelligent proposals. Very cunning... Now the next step for them is to stop using hotmail or yahoo for receiving replies.

I suspect that he's actually wanting ongoing help. I think that's why there's a cost per kb.

That's part of the scam. Posted Image

Really, it wouldn't be hard to scam him out of the paycheck if he was already stupid enough to take the job.
