God no, it fails in comparison to Bad Company 2.

Then you won't see why people shun campers more than they shun hackers here.

They literally just wait in a building for someone to come in then shoot. Due to the lagging issues (.125s for a green, 3 bar connection), by the time you see them (maybe .12s reaction time?) they will have already shot you.

Play an objective game? Sure. The campers will treat it like deathmatch and won't be going for the objectives -___-;;

BC2 is much better.

First part is a server problem, don't play on the PC.

Also, you think the Objective missions are a problem in MW2 alone? The same problem is in Bad Company 2, snipers just camp and hope the rest of the team does the job.

Sadly I dont think the PS3 has dedicated servers for MW2 either. Not sure about 360. What makes it worse than BC2 is that MW2 maps are so small, there's not many routes you can approach something. BC2 you can probably get creative and flank the snipers.

That is why I only play Conquest mode in Bad Company 2. Everybody will always be moving around so it is hard to find a place to camp for long periods of time without getting spotted.

lol this game is a joke. fov < 90? it's like you're a race horse and you can only see in front of you. more likely to give you claustrophobia than an enjoyable gaming experience

I know what you mean... It actually adds to all the headache you'll have after you play the game. [Blood on the screen, explosions rocking the screen like there's no tomorrow, etc.]

I couldn't even play the game for 2 hours without feeling dizzy...
(plus having no dedicated servers adds up to the stabbing feeling at the back of your head :shifty:)

I'll say that this was actually a poor follow-up to CoD4...

This, this is amazing. I've actually walked basically into a person and neither of us were able to see one another. I actually play in widescreen aspect ratio just for the extra little bit you can see.

Indeed. CoD4 was much more enjoyable for me.

I'm a big fan of MW2. but thats because I didn't get into CoD4 until late. But they both need some kind of side game like Nazi Zombies.

Battlefield is a MUCH better series than Call of Duty.

Camping in Battlefield? No one gives a shit or complains. The map is big enough that if you camp, you'll just be boring yourself to death.

Camping in Call of Duty? 25-0.

----

Idea of a "rush" in Call of Duty? Just a simple shoot-em-up. However, the game is so glitched that EVEN when you're capturing the point, the enemy can spawn on it.

A "rush" in Battlefield? Once you're capturing their base, they can't spawn anymore from it. WHICH MAKES SENSE, in COD, someone spawns right behind you when you're capturing! A rush in Battlefield also means several airstrikes from ACTUAL players manning planes and helicopters and a commander sending artillery in (don't think they have this in Bad Company 2 though).

----

Battlefield series win due to the infamous and awesome suicide bomb trick they have. You strap c4s onto a fast moving vehicles and then ram it onto an enemy tank.

Kamikaze was also a fun tactic.

BC2 needs some epic BF1942 loading screen music. Suicide bombings are awesome with the ATVs, and UAV roadkills as well
