Why is everyone convinced this is the reason that some people are getting frozen. Has this been determined? I use the program, I keep refreshing after I get an ub..but my account is still here.

the same as many other people

not to mention they might have known you guys have been cheating for a while now and decide to do it all at once to have more of an impact. No point in freezing people one by one because they will just rebuild and people will continue using them.

If you freeze a lot of people at once many more will be hesitant before using a program.

-reference- Pindle/Meph botting on Diablo 2 LOD, <---they ban everyone in clumps.

Yeah that's what I've been saying. Why keep getting hung up over this one issue when it could be a multitude of reasons.

Also - xbox live flags modders during the year but they only take action in their November ban waves.

Is that tiger woods watching porn? 0.o It's early morning.

Would it really bump the safety up though? Thats unknown.

Well in some shops, that are cleared out anyway, no.
but lets take my immense restock list for example,
Shops: Food, Toy, Stamps, Magical bookshop, Booktastic book, Tyrannian petpets, Plushie shop, Royal potionery, Brightvale Armoury

Out of all of these shops, the only one I ever see sold out when not RS banned is the Magical Bookshop, in all the others I would know instantly if I was RS banned, and most of the time in the magical bookshop I would know aswell.
I think you could have easier RS ban detection if you used sudden item drops, like if there were 20 in stock and now there is none.

Nnnope. Dulé Hill, playing Burton Guster in Psych.

... What? It's like the only show I watch, gimme a break. :T

EDIT: Also note my silly profanity filter. I need to tone it down again, seems like. Hmph, the things I go through to make sure that nosy little brothers don't learn anything bad from watching me...

In reference to the actual topic: What? People have been getting frozen (moreso than usual) lately? Huh. And here I've been ABing like normal. Well, I took a break on Thursday, and I was just messing around in Tyrannian Petpets yesterday (didn't see a thing), but yeah.
Geez, if I had seen this, I would have laid low.

This may have been an incident isolated to a select few of relatively high stature? Many of us have continued as normal.

It really depends on their definition of High Stature, because I didn't have much, I just ABed a lot.

Well I'm amassing a decent quantity. I'm nearing that 15k in interest mark.

And when I said "High Stature," I think I meant Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake, Someone else, and Jake

I didn't know Jake was considered high stature. I thought he used too low settings.

True, but the sheer quantity of accounts and rapidity of freezing was astonishing.

True. When will he learn...

We should give him an award for quickest freeze.

No proof that it even happened, whenever I asked for more information on it, he didn't provide any.

I don't see why he would lie about getting iced though. If it was to deface codex, well, we will use the programs regardless :D

Either to gain the attention of the forum, or just have a reason to have a "conversation".

Doesn't really matter anyways, he went and ragequit on us.

i haven't been frozen either - i used abrosia for 2h straight and then a pause of an hour or two
then again my account is hardly 10mNP and still not 4 months old :)
i feel sorry for the ones who've been iced - finally a great account and then getting frozen, mustn't be fun
would it've been possible the frozen ones were on some 'to freeze'-list, that TNT was following them somehow?

My account didn't get hit.
I don't ab much because my internet sucks at my house, but I tend to run abrosia once a week in clothing shop.
I use crazy settings that most people would be afraid to use. Getting about 2-2.5 mil in a day in clothing shop when I log in.
Could be from running the program too much?

Yeah, I suppose short bursts of crazy refresh would work.

Not that bad for me, I was expecting to be frozen months ago, and found it hilarious that I lasted so long.

But elin, what type of settings did you use that caused the ice?

I didn't get caught in this wave of icings but I got hit by the january ones!

I have a question though. My account is less then 4 months old. Could that be it?They are waiting for the higher rarity UBs to be bought for the ban hammer to fall? I get UBs now but not high rarity ones.

I think it is that once you get high rarity UBs you get looked at under a microscope. They then ice if you look suspicious.

I'm sorry to hear you guys got frozen :/
I've been through the topic and what drew my attention was the low haggle rate. I think it might be a bit /too/ low. I have a very fast connection (16 mbps) and it still takes me at least a second to haggle. My connection has nothing to do with it - I just don't think as fast. It takes me time to focus the price textbox, time to type and time to spot the neopet in the picture. And no way in hell I do all that in less than a second. I understand that network raises it a bit more, but it's still might be a bit too high.

As for restock bans - A human can easily spot if he's banned simply based on the shop he's rsing at. When I rs in a shop that I /know/ always has crap, and all of the sudden it's all gone - I don't need to take a guess, it's crystal clear that I'm banned. I still double check that; refresh once-twice more and go to tiki, but that's just because I'm hoping for some luck, not because I'm not sure. Of course this differs in shops that are always out of stock, but maybe it's worth making a list of those "special" shops in refresh only in those.

Anyway, those are my fifty cents, whatever that's worth. I remember we had a suggestion a while ago to read the boards and stuff - I think it's excellent but only "nice to have". I'm usually here while rsing or watch a tv show or something. IMHO - the haggle rates are a must.

GL rebuilding everyone.

I wasn't frozen thank god!!

Maybe between the ones who were frozen/weren't frozen you can pick and choose what went wrong and where.

1)Magic, Clothes, Fresh Foods, Plushies, and many when I restocked legit for about an hour.
2)An hour or so on and an hour or so off. I never use the scheduler.
3)5
4)20+
5)was running two ABs. Account #1 was 4.0-7.0. Account #2 was 7.0-13.0.
6)no
7)0.6-1.1 for both
8)0.8-1.0 for both
