If you ask me, I would be more interested in Mythbusters revealing how TNT catches autobuyers.

I hope it looks something like this.

Yeah I'm sure TNT knows how autobuyers work. I just want to hear their BS reasoning/hypertrack :D

so does that mean you could buy at .01 (as long as you always have) and TNT wouldn't suspect anything? lol :whistling:

Iargue's post seriously made my morning. This thread's hilarious.
The fact that in the last "banning wave" or whatever you want to call it, plenty of ABers didn't get iced, shows that their system isn't 100% accurate. I wonder if they really can pick out specific items that were ABed, or if they just assumed every high priced item was and send those in e-mails.

It's gotta be a little more than just that. I'd naturally assume it has something to do with the frequency of the high profit items (or ratio of 250k+ items vs. low-ticket items). A person picking up one Plushie Chomby Morphing Potion could just be luck, or a fluke, or whatever, but when the person has a history of hitting multiple similar items (high profit, high demand) over a short period of time, that probably raises a flag.

Hey guys, tell me - Does Abrosia support hidden context? Perhaps they placed hidden context and log responses that do not provide them. Web browsers provide the entire context, including hidden, so they can easily spot if you're not a browser if you don't provide it.

    "hidden context"

Did you make that word up too? As I have explained before. Abrosia works 100% like Firefox does, the only difference is rather then rendering the html, it just read it like plain text, and then acts upon it (saves your ass time). TNT sees the same thing from both firefox and from Abrosia.

I purchases 56 items from Tikitak via Abrosia, and 56 via Firefox whenever I started the "Those of you frozen in the past 48 hours" thread. The post data remained the same through the entire time.

Now, our httpwrapper doesnt do certain things to save times, but we are keeping careful track, and if TNT comes up with a method to check if that is done, then we will simply make it happen. (Most likely offload it to a second thread so we can continue to work while it fakes the rest of the page). Post data is 100% identical though, and TNT just guesses and bans people. Hundreds of legit people are frozen for Autobuying every day (Look at TNT's BBB score).

If you are talking about form data that says type="Hidden" then yes. We do submit that was well as all other data. Please understand that we are not noobs at what we do, and we promise to -always- out innovate TNT.

Ummm do you mean 'Hypertrack' not Hypertack?

Anyways... You asked google, but I asked Jeeves

Now, that trusty ol' internet butler is full of some mad internetz knowledge. Im not sure where this dude gets his information from but he knows almost as much as google.

So... 'Hypertrack / Hypertracking' is a 'word' per se but what do neopets mean when they say they are 'fast tracking' users they assume to be autobuying? Are they for some reason helping them out by providing them with more profitable items in the Main Shops in order to purchase with their AB's?

They aren't random, Abrosia prices items for the database in the background.

Seems like total bullshit. I dont think they care that much, they just look at the speeds + times and then mass ban everyone.

I only found this recently when I was using my aber to restock and after it would miss an item I would check its value in the codex database. It would then say the item was last spotted 1 min ago, so it would have to be updating the DB somehow.

For one. "he knows almost as much as google." Google knows more.

For two. If google says it does not exist. IT DOES NOT EXIST.

Yes. I understood what they meant when they said Hypertrack, but I was making fun of them using a word does not exist. Which is does not, no matter how much Ask Jeeves would want to make you believe (Perhaps he is on TNT payroll). To explain what TNT was claiming, is that whenever you load a page wrong, they instantly(Or reallllly fast) check your previous purchases for failed loads as well. And as I explained before this...This is all bullshit.

I really do not understand you point in bringing this up...

Well, Tnt posting that just pretty much confirmed their complete idiocy. Im thinking their method of freezing is more along the lines of "hey look! this guy just got three mps in a row! thats no fair, lets freeze him!"

Google may have access to all the best data, but that would not imply that the entity itself knows all.
