The Sims series is pretty good if you manage to get around buying all those expensive expansion packs.

Starcraft (...it was worth the effin 12year wait for the 2nd installment)
Heroes of Might and Magic (imo best turn based strategy out there)
Halo series
Mario series
Pokemon (although its getting pretty damn repetitive)
last but not least, minesweeper :D

I don't understand Kingdom Hearts :/ I played it, beat it, and it was nothing special. And it was much too child-like for me :/

This is from a person who loves super smash and mario kart xD

i go for final fantasy all the way
i dont agree its been 'milked too much'
they're always the first games with the best graphics & visuals on playstation
just look at FFXII, how its even able to run on PS2! or FFX was the first one with voices

Silent Hill, Halo (yes, I did just say that), Pokemon, Assassin's Creed and I love most sim games. (Mysims, The Sims, SimCity, Rollercoaster Tycoon, SPORE etc.)

Final Fantasy would be really really up there in my list of best game series, but my all time favorite other than Pokemon is Jax and Daxter. I don't know what I like about it, but it does has its simplistic charm and innocent humour that gives it a refreshing view on life. Pokemon and Final Fantasy would be my top only if Pokemon were less repetitive in some ways (excluding gameplay), and Final Fantasy if they were more consistently epic in a sense. They did have their falls in some games *cough* X-2 *cough* in terms of a memorize and enjoyable experience.

actually pokemon is not repetitive at all once you get into the competitive multiplayer aspect of it in my opinion

yeah x-2 was a serious letdown, but the others were quite cool
though i had trouble following the story in xii... the graphics made up for it BIG time (omg the architecture >.<), though it wasnt as much as an extensive story... i still love viii f.e. just because i thought the story was sooo awesome even though the graphics are less
and ix was just cute and fun to play ^^

Discuss.

I think series like Final Fantasy were milked way, way, way, way too much. IMO, the best series of games were the Pokemon games. I just loved each and every one of them! :p

I agree with you 100%

I liked:

Diablo

Halo

Call of Duty

Age of Empires and

Legend of Zelda

Pokemon

Those were my favorite series out of most of the games I played.
