refresh times should be based on the shop you are at. if its pharmacy( bulk restocks) 8-14 is perfect. If its magic( items sell out in split seconds) 2-5.
OCR.+Pre-haggle no less then a total of 1.5 seconds.
Dont Ab for more then 6 hours a day, take breaks in between Abing sessions.

No offense everyone, but why not try legit restocking for a bit?
Then you'll know by expereince which shops restock often, and those that don't. Plus it gives you experience about shops that have turnover and what not. It helps. You don't actually have to be able to buy stuff, just learn about stock rotation

I'm just saying it's for your own benefit. We can tell you as much info as you want, but you won't really understand how it work.s
Yes it's boring. that's the point. Like here's a small set of stuff you learn when you legit restock:
refreshing 1-3 seconds IS NOT uncommon.
Ab'ing for longer than an hour at a time, unless you have a lot of patience IS VERY BORING.
Certain shops you can go longer in because of the high turnover, so it's not as boring.
etc. you learn a lot more which you can transfer into your AB'er. Seriously... just try. We're lazy for using these programs, but not even taking half an hour to properly learn why makes you extremely lazy.

It's a lot easier if you use adblock and semi-legit restocking. THere's a guide somewhere on here
turnover, which probably isn't even a real term (), is when a shop restocks, and then sells enough of its stock to actually get a good amount of items. So I'm not talking about plushie palace where it sells 2 items and then restocks 1 good one. I'm talking about like, food where it restocks 20 items, then down to 3, then restocks 24, and how often it happens and such.

This is one of my cues that there will be a higher chance of good items in the next restock. Someone don't seem to get it and say LOL IT IS RANDOM

No worries, I know of the Adblock method, and read the guide on this site about it. However, I still don't know whether that's a good idea, since I'm not sure whether TNT can find out you're doing Adblocking. Can they?
So turnover is just from one extreme to another???Still kinda confused about this. So in your example, when the food has 20 items, they're likely to be bad? And the 3 items = good? 24 items = bad? Or what? I think I'm missing the point here... confused.

So when the shop suddenly goes down to 3 items, you know that the next 24 item restock (using the previous example) will be good?
Posted 09 May 2010 - 04:09 PM
Well it IS random per se, but the chance of a shop having having only 1 item and having good items in its next restock is higher than if it had 15 to start
One of our members has been using it for a year and she's still fine.
Turnover may just be a term I totally made up haha. But there are basically 3 types of stores:
a) Stores that almost always have 20+ items in them, and restock very infrequently, but have very valuable items in it (Royal Pot, Brightvale Armoury, Merifoods etc.)
b) Stores that sell items relatively quickly, but take longer to restock than normal (like stamps, magic, plushie palace is sorta between this one and type a)
c) Stores that sell items REALLY quickly and restock there shelves very quickly as well. These shops usually have a large selection of items though, so their restocks usually aren't as anticipated or valuable
and of course there are intermediates, such as clothing and furniture. And shops that are useless

Spending 60 minutes in food is a waste, yet 12 in royal pot is stupid. So it's a good way to compile shops into categories.

You wouldn't spend 60 mins in food most likely. After Abrosia sees a profitable restock, it changes shop
